Great news for sci-fi fans in the AARP set!
Jane Badler, the now 56-year-old star of 1983’s original “V: The Miniseries,” its sequel “V: The Final Battle,” and its 1984 TV spinoff “V: The Series,” is reprising her role as alien femme fatal Diana on ABC’s current “V” reboot. According to TV Guide, the show will reveal Diana to be the mother of series alien queen Anna (Morena Baccarin).
“V’s” second season will also unveil a never-before-seen set piece on board the visitors’ mothership designed to resemble their home planet. It is in this area that Diana is being held prisoner by Anna, who fears the power of her mother’s influence.
“V” costars Elizabeth Mitchell (“LOST”), Scott Wolf (”Party of Five”), Laura Vandervoort (”Smallville”), Morris Chestnut (The Cave), Joel Gretsch (Push), Lourdes Benedicto (”The Nine”), and Logan Huffman (Circledrawers).
“V” returns to ABC in January.
