Dino-Mite: ‘Dracula’ Star Katie McGrath Joins ‘Jurassic World’

Katie McGrath-Jurassic-World

Katie McGrath (“Dracula”) is set to join Jurassic World, the eagerly anticipated third sequel in Universal Pictures and producer Steven Spielberg’s Jurassic Park franchise. The film, the first in the series since 2001’s Jurassic Park 3, is directed and co-written by Colin Trevorrow (Safety Not Guaranteed).

No word on what role McGrath plays, but she will costar alongside Bryce Dallas Howard (Spider-Man 3), Chris Pratt (Guardians of the Galaxy), Vincent D’Onofrio (Chained), Jake Johnson (“New Girl”), Lauren Lapkus (“Orange is the New Black”) and Judy Greer (Carrie).

McGrath currently stars as sexy, bad-girl socialite Lucy Westenra on NBC’s “Dracula.” She played evil priestess Lady Morgana Pendragon on the BBC’s “Merlin” fantasy series, and had a role in Wes Craven’s Scream IV.
