She’s no spring chicken, but Gina Gershon (Killer Joe) is still finger licking good (yes, you just read that). Gershon is part of the cast recently announced for Bad Kids Go 2 Hell, an unexpected, but very welcomed, sequel to the original adaptation of  Matthew Spradlin and Barry Wernick’s comic book series.

Joining Gershon in the film are Sean Astin (“The Strain”) and his daughter Ali Astin, Nickelodeon star Drake Bell, Sophia Taylor Ali (“Tyrant”), and Sammi Hanratty (“Salem”), among others. Bad Kids Go to Hell actor Ben Browder makes his directorial debut with the sequel, and reprises his role as janitor Max.

Bad Kids Go 2 Hell picks up four years after the events from the original film, and finds a group of five prep school students fighting for their lives after pulling a prank on a teacher during Saturday detention. Production is currently underway in Texas for a 2015 release.

Hammer has released a teaser for The Women in Black: Angel of Death, a sequel to its 2012 supernatural hit starring Daniel Radcliffe. Directed by Tom Harper and written by Jon Croker and Woman in Black author Susan Hill, Angel of Death stars Phoebe Fox and Jeremy Irvine (War Horse).

The synopsis reads:

As bombs rain down on London during the Blitz of World War II, a group of school children are evacuated with Eve, their young and beautiful schoolteacher, to the safety of the English countryside. Taken to an old and empty estate, cut-off by a causeway from the mainland, they are left at Eel Marsh House.

One by one the children begin acting strangely and Eve, with the help of local military commander Harry, discovers that the group has awoken a dark force even more terrifying and evil than the city’s air raids. Eve must now confront her own demons to save the children and escape the wrath of The Woman in Black.

Homecoming: Peep the ‘Amityville: The Awakening’ Trailer!

amityville-awakening

Dimension Films has released a trailer for Amityville: The Awakening, a reboot of the chilling 1979 classic horror film about a family tormented by the demonic forces occupying their home. Franck Khalfoun (Maniac) directs from a script written by Casey La Scala (The Remaining) and Daniel Farrands (The Girl Next Door).

Amityville stars Jennifer Jason Leigh (Single White Female) as a single mother who moves with her three children into a new house in Amityville, New York to be close to the neurological hospital department taking care of her comatose son. Unfortunately for the new transplants, the house is evil.

Not sure we’re digging the whole brother in a coma angle… okay, we’re not, but the Amityville house is still pretty terrifying in its own right.
