A trailer has gone online for the original Syfy thriller Dead Still, co-starring genre stunner Elle LaMont. Set to premiere Oct. 6 as part of Syfy’s “31 Days of Halloween” programming, the film centers on a wedding photographer (Ben Browder) who inherits an antique camera that kills its subjects.

LaMont has appeared in a string of notable genre offerings, including the indie vampire frightener The Devil’s Gravestone and Robert Rodriguez’s TV adaptation of “From Dusk Till Dawn” and Machete Kills, in which she played Dollface, one of Sofia Vergara’s sexy hooker-assassins gang.
