A&E has  released its first promo for season three of producer Carlton Cuse (”LOST”) and Kerry Ehrin’s (”Friday Night Lights”) hit series “Bates Motel.” The show is a present-day prequel to Alfred Hitchcock’s Psycho, and stars Freddie Highmore as Norman Bates and Vera Farmiga as his controlling mother Norma.

The tease shows Norman’s romantic side as he watches a beautiful redhead strip off her red dress from a peep hole he’s drilled into the room. Who’s the mystery woman? It’s “Revolution” hottie Tracy Spiridakos as Annika Johnson, a hotel guest who makes the mistake of showering.

A new trailer has gone online for Suburban Gothic, a horror comedy from writer and director Richard Bates (Excision). The story follows a brainy unemployed medium forced to move back home with his asshole parents. When a malevolent spirit takes over the town, he teams up with a busty bartender to fight it.

Kat Dennings (“Two Broke Girls”), looking slim, dark, and hot, plays the busty bartender. Dennings is coming off Marvel’s Thor: The Dark World. Horror fans with girlfriends will know her from Nick and Nora’s Infinite Playlist. She is best known as the sassy, big-busted waitress on CBS’ “Two Broke Girls.”

Lionsgate has released a trailer for Vice, a futuristic thriller about an adult resort where patrons can indulge in their most debauched fantasies by paying to abuse cyborgs programmed with the most advanced artificial intelligence. Directed by Brian A. Miller, the flick is most likely a direct-to-DVD Westworld rip.

Not that there’s anything wrong with that. The film stars Thomas Jane (Punisher) and cutie Ambyr Childers (We Are What We Are) and features Bruce Willis (“Moonlighting”) as proprietor of the Vice resort. Childers plays a female bot who becomes self aware and escapes. Vice arrives (?) in theaters and VOD on Jan. 16.

Peep it:

Sin City: A Dame to Kill For came and went pretty quickly, but the memory of Jessica Alba as Nancy the stripper will forever linger in our minds, warming the cockles of our cockles. Of course if you were one of the 12 people who saw the ill-fated sequel, chances are Nancy’s gloomy demeanor served as a buzz kill.

She was no longer the lasso twirling vixen we had come to love in the original. She was dark, moody, depressed, and angry… like the everyday women we meet or know in our lives. It was terrible, but forgivable because she her sourpuss attitude was still wrapped up in skimpy stripper outfits.

And like the great philosophers Blood Hound Gang once said, “The lap dance is always better when the stripper is crying.” But, now, there’s even more reason to love the Nancy character: photos of Alba doing her stripper routine in front of a green screen have leaked online. You’re welcome.
