Virginia Gardner Is a Sweet Addition to Blumhouse’s ‘Halloween’

Virginia Gardner is set to costar in the new and reportedly final Halloween sequel from horror hit machine Blumhouse and Universal Pictures. David Gordon Green (Pineapple Express) directs and co-writes with longtime collaborator and actor Danny McBride (”Eastbound & Down”).

Halloween creator John Carpenter serves as an executive producer on the film and Jamie Lee Curtis stars once again as iconic final girl Laurie Strode. Newcomer Andi Matichak plays Strode’s granddaughter Allyson and Gardner is her hot friend from school.

Gardner, who costarred in the time machine thriller Project Almanac and stars as Karolina Dean in Hulu’s original superhero series,”Marvel’s Runaways,” makes her horror film debut with Halloween. She is best known for having had a recurring role on ABC’s hit comedy “The Goldbergs.”
