Margaret Qualley (The Substance) will star in Smile director Parker Finn’s remake of Andrzej Żuławski’s Possession, a surreal 1981 psychological creature feature about a rotting relationship.

Qualley, daughter of Andie MacDowell, is best known for starring in HBO’s rapture drama “The Leftovers,” Quentin Tarantino’s Once Upon a Time In Hollywood, Yorgos Lanthimos’ Poor Things, and last year’s acclaimed body horror thriller The Substance, opposite Demi Moore.

Her crowning achievement also came in 2025 when she made Clatto’s celebrated list of The Best Nude Acting in Horror.
