Starz has released a fun and insightful 12-minute behind-the-scenes featurette for its upcoming “Spartacus: Vengeance” season. Along with new footage, the clip includes interviews with writer/creator Steven S. Knight, producer Rob Tapert and actors Liam McIntyre (Spartacus), Lucy Lawless (Lucretia), Viva Bianca (Ilithyia) and the gorgeous Katrina Law.

“Spartacus: Vengeance” finds our hero leading a slave revolution while attempting to take revenge on the man responsible for the enslavement and consequential death of his beloved wife Sura. The new season premieres on Jan. 27.

The cast of AMC’s critically acclaimed zombie-apocalypse series “The Walking Dead” are spilling on season two of  the show in a new four-minute-plus featurette that gives fans a taste of what’s to come and a glimpse at some of the new faces they’ll be seeing … ripped off.

“The Walking Dead” will have its 90-minute premiere on Sunday, Oct. 16. Six hour-long episodes will air during the following weeks before the show takes a short hiatus and returns on Sunday, Feb. 12 (just in time for sweeps).

Season six of Showtime’s award-winning serial killer drama “Dexter” is set to premiere this Sunday, Oct. 2. This time out Dex will be facing off against a dangerous religious zealot (Edward James Olmos), a reformed killer (Mos Def), and Sgt. Angel Batista’s (David Zayas) hot tamale of a sister (Aimee Garcia).

Also on board this season are Colin Hanks (King Kong), Jordana Spiro (Trespass), Mariana Klaveno (”True Blood”), Molly Parker (”Swingtown”) , Josh Cooke (Quarantine 2: Terminal) , Billy Brown (Cloverfield) and Brea Grant (”Heroes”).

Photos of Kristen Stewart on the set of Universal Pictures Snow White and the Huntsman have hit the web. The Rupert Sanders-directed film is a dark re-imagining of the classic fairy tale that finds Snow White (Stewart) taking up arms to battle an evil queen (Charlize Theron).

Snow White and the Huntsman costars Chris Hemsworth as the Huntsman, Sam Claflin as the Prince, British fashion model Liberty Ross and Noah Huntley as Snow White’s mother and father, and Robert Pattinson as Sparkly the dwarf.

Images of Scarlett Johansson on the New York set of Marvel Studios’ upcoming superhero mash-up film The Avengers have hit the web. The shots give us a glimpse of Johansson in her Black Widow and Natasha Romanoff outfits.

The Avengers is directed by Joss Whedon and costars Robert Downey Jr. (Iron Man), Chris Hemsworth (Thor), Chris Evans (Captain America), Jeremy Renner (Hawkeye), Samuel Jackson (Nick Fury), Mark Ruffalo (The Hulk), and Cobie Smulders (Maria Hill).

The Avengers arrives in theaters on May 4, 2012.

Sure, the curvy 21-year-old stunner is covered head to toe in blue paint, but that jiggle sure as hell ain’t movie effects. With X-Men: First Class set to arrive on home-video on Sept 9, Twentieth Century Fox has leaked footage of Lawrence undergoing the makeup process that transformed her into a young and naked Mystique.

It’s all presented in a very professional and artistic manner, but—let’s face it—this isn’t exactly Andy Serkis running around in a motion capture suit. It amazes me that no one comments on the two big blue elephants in the room. How refreshing would it have been to hear someone say, “Dayum, that bitch got sum big ole titties under that slop.”

Photos of Kate Beckinsale on the Toronto set of husband/director Len Wiseman’s upcoming remake of Paul Verhoeven’s 1990 sci-fi classic Total Recall have hit the web. The images show the 38-year-old British stunner shooting scenes inside a futuristic cop car and strutting her stuff on a highway while strapped.

Total Recall stars Colin Farrell as Doug Quaid, a factory worker who starts to believe he’s a spy when his real memories and those he purchased from an implanting company start to blur together. Beckinsale is his double-crossing wife Lori Quaid—a part memorably played by Sharon Stone in the original.

Costarring in the film are Bryan Cranston (”Breaking Bad”) as politico villain Vilos Cohaagen, Bill Nighy (Pirates of the Caribbean) as resistance leader Quatto, and the gorgeous Jessica Biel as prostitute/resistance fighter Melina.

Production on Paramount Pictures’ big screen adaptation of author Max Brooks novel “World War Z” is currently underway in Valletta, Malta. Photos from the set featuring lead Brad Pitt—and some mysterious corpses—have hit the web.

World War Z is set ten years after a zombie apocalypse and follows a UN researcher (Pitt) as he collects testimonials from survivors around the world. The film is directed by Marc Forster (Quantum of Solace) and costars Mirielle Enos (”The Killing”), Julia Levy-Boeken (Road Trip: Beer Pong), James Badge Dale (The Grey), Ed Harris (The Abyss), and Matthew Fox (”LOST”).

Mila Kunis and Mark Wahlberg were photographed today as they shot a scene for “Family Guy” creator Seth MacFarlane’s debut film Ted at Charlie’s Sandwich Shoppe in Boston. The supernatural comedy tells the tale of a man (Wahlberg) who is tormented by his childhood teddy bear 25 years after it comes to life.

The film costars Laura Vandervoort (”Smallville”), Jessica Stroup (”90210″), Joel McHale (”Community”), Giovanni Ribisi (Avatar), and Patrick Warburton (Men in Black 2). Universal Pictures will release Ted in theaters on July 13, 2012.

Brooding star Kristen Stewart was photographed wearing a bright green bikini on the set of Summit Entertainment’s final Twilight chapter Breaking Dawn. The pretty 21-year-old looks great, but what good is the promise of seeing her in a two-piece when the sappy flick makes you want to gouge your eyes out?

But, hey, if it gets you into the theater on Nov. 18, you might as well be up on the plot. The official synopsis reads:

After their wedding, Bella and Edward travel to Rio de Janeiro for their honeymoon, where they finally give in to their passions. Bella soon discovers she is pregnant, and during a nearly fatal childbirth, Edward finally fulfills her wish to become immortal.

But the arrival of their remarkable daughter, Renesmee, sets in motion a perilous chain of events that pits the Cullens and their allies against the Volturi, the fearsome council of vampire leaders, setting the stage for an all-out battle.

The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn is directed by Bill Condon and costars Robert Pattinson, Taylor Lautner, Dakota Fanning, Jackson Rathbone, Nikki Reed, Ashley Greene, Kellan Lutz, Billy Burke and Saga new comer Maggie Grace.

Part Two of Breaking Dawn will hit theaters on Nov. 16, 2012.
