Invincible Pictures has set an Oct. 25 home-video release date for director Srdjan Spasojevic’s controversial porn-snuff frightener A Serbian Film. The much maligned film, banned from this year’s Film4 Frightfest and dropped by Netflix from its service, is available in stores, on Amazon, at its website and on FlixFling.com.

A Serbian Film tells the horrifying story of a downtrodden ex-porn star trying to make ends meet for his family by taking a role in a privately funded fetish video that involves acts both immoral and illegal. The film’s most shocking scenes include machete sex, eye-socket rape, torture, and newborn rape.

No fat chicks though.

Sony Pictures has set a Dec. 27 Unrated-DVD release date for Hostel 3, the second sequel to Eli Roth’s 2006 masterpiece. Directed by Scott Spiegel (executive producer on Hostel 1 & 2) from a script by Michael Weiss (Journey to the Center of the Earth), the plot follows four friends lured away from a Vegas bachelor party by two sexy escorts, who inadvertently deliver them to the Elite Hunting Club.

Hostel 3 stars Thomas Kretschmann (“The River”), John Hensley (the son on “Nip/Tuck”), Kip Pardue (Remember the Titans), Skyler Stone (Rules of Attraction), Chris Coy (“True Blood”), Sarah Habel (The Butterfly Effect 3: Revelations), and hottie model/actress Kelly Thiebaud (”The Secret Life of the American Teenager”).

While I’m still disappointed by Roth’s lack of involvement in the project, I’m totally digging the trailer. What made the first two Hostel films especially frightening to me was the knowledge that—like the characters—I too could be led to a wretched death by my penis. Setting the new sequel in Vegas amidst gorgeous butt-shaking strippers only helps to bring the horror closer to home!

I do hope that the Hostel franchise will continue and I like the idea of visiting Elite Hunting Clubs around the world in debauched tourist-trap cities such as New Orleans, Ibiza, Bangkok, Tokyo, Rio de Janeiro and Tijuana (two words: donkey show).

Human Centipede mastermind Tom Six will see the premiere of his already controversial sequel The Human Centipede: Full Sequence tonight at the Alamo Drafthouse theater in Austin, Texas as part of the Fantastic Fest seventh annual kickoff.

Six recently spoke with The NY Times about the film, which was banned in the U.K. for its scenes of torture, humiliation, defecation, and forced barbed-wire sodomy. The always outrageous auteur explains to writer Dave Itzkoff why he likes pissing people off and embraces the term “torture porn.”

Says Six:

I actually like the term. I see porno films, of course, and I like them, I have no problem with that at all. And there have been so many horror films, and that’s all torture and misery. That’s the genre. I kind of like that they combine it. I think my film is a torture porn with European art sauce or something.

I like to make controversial films. I like that people talk about your work. I would hate it if I would make a film, and people wonder what to have for dinner when the film is over and not think about your film. I love it that people talk about it, hate it, can’t sleep over it.

Because if people say it’s a nice shot or it’s a nice story line, it’s so general. You can say that with almost any film you see. And things like, “this film should never have been made,” that’s exceptional.

The Human Centipede: First Sequence starred Ashlynn Yennie and Ashley C. Williams as American tourists abducted by an evil German scientist hell-bent on creating a human centipede by sewing them together mouth-to-anus.

Full Sequence is set around a fat, perverted miscreant named Martin (Laurence R. Harvey) who attempts to create a much bigger human centipede of his own after watching the Six’s original movie. Yenni returns for the sequel, but it’s not known yet if she’s playing herself or reprising her First Sequence role in some kind of fantasy scene.

IFC has released a trailer for director/degenerate Tom Six’s The Human Centipede Part 2 (Full Sequence), the controversial sequel to his outrageous 2009 hit about a mad German scientist’s quest to link people ass-to-mouth to form the Human Centipede.

The BBFC banned the sequel in the U.K., citing scenes of torture, humiliation, defecation, and forced barbed-wire sodomy as its reasons. None of that is shown in the trailer, but we do get a glimpse at something far more disturbing: a fat guy in tighty-whities.

Prom Night starlet Brittany Snow returns to the horror genre in Periscope Entertainment’s fucked-up frightener Would You Rather. The pretty 25-year-old toplines a cast that includes Jeffrey Combs (Re-Animator), Robin Lord Taylor (Another Earth), Lawrence Gilliard Jr. (”The Wire”), John Heard (”Prison Break”) and Sasha Grey (Cum Fart Cocktails 5).

Directed by Periscope CEO David Guy Levy, the film stars Snow as a desperate woman out to save her ailing brother’s life by competing in a demented mogul’s (Combs) gruesome game of “Would You Rather.” Shooting is currently underway in Los Angeles.

Would You Rather marks Snow’s return to horror since starring as the female lead in Sony Screen Gems 2008 remake of the 1980 Canadian slasher Prom Night. The Florida-born actress was at one time set to star as Alyssa in the big screen adaptation of Capcom’s survival game Clock Tower, but the film remains in production limbo.

America Olivo (Bitch Slap) is set to star in WWE Studios and Pathe UK’s upcoming torture thriller No One Lives. She joins an impressive cast of stunners that includes Adelaide Clemens (Silent Hill: Revelations), Lindsay Shaw (”Pretty Little Liars”) and Laura Ramsey (The Ruins).

The synopsis reads:

A ruthless criminal gang takes a young couple hostage and goes to ground in an abandoned house in the middle of nowhere. When the captive girl is killed, the tables are unexpectedly turned. The gang finds itself outsmarted by an urbane and seasoned killer determined to ensure that no one lives.

No One Lives is directed by Ryuhei Kitamura (Midnight Meat Train) and costars Luke Evans (The Raven), Lee Tergesen (The Collection), Beau Knapp (Super 8), Derek Magyar (Train), and WWE wrestler Brodus Clay. Cameras will roll next week in New Orleans.

Olivo won the hearts of Clatto pervs readers back in ‘09 when she starred in director Rick Jacobson’s (“Spartacus: Blood and Sand”) ode to sexploitation Bitch Slap. The 33-year-old Cali native can also be seen in Platinum Dunes’ Friday the 13th, Indican Pictures’ serial-killer drama Circle, and the Lionsgate frighteners The Last Resort and Neighbor.

Director Patrick Lussier and writer Todd Farmer, the mad geniuses behind 3-D thrill rides Drive Angry and My Bloody Valentine, have been tapped by Dimension Films to reboot Clive Barker’s beloved 1987 frightener Hellraiser.

Lussier tells Moviefone:

We want to pull from the world that Clive created. Specifically that’s what we wanted to do. In that original film he opened so many interesting doorways and opportunities that that’s what we want to explore– always keeping in mind what he had done and how he did it and just working within that world.

The idea was that if we’re going to do it, let’s be epic. There’s a part of this world that we’re never allowed to see because there’s never been the resources to show it, so let’s show it.

Lussier goes on to dispel rumors that the Hellraiser reboot would be teen oriented. He does not, however, confirm or deny if his Drive Angry star Amber Heard will star in the film. Here’s hoping Doug Bradley is brought back to portray Cenobite leader Pinhead.

Dimension Films has also got a straight-to-DVD Hellraiser flick coming down the pike entitled Hellraiser: Revelations. It stars former “La Femme Nikita” TV starlet Peta Wilson.

The original Hellraiser film is the only one in the franchise directed by creator Clive Barker (it was based on his novella “The Hellbound Heart”). The 57-year-old British author regrettably sold the rights to the Hellraiser universe before the first film hit theaters in 1987.

The MPAA has banned the poster for director Stevan Mena’s indie-slasher Bereavement over its depiction of a six-year-old boy carrying a very big knife alongside the serial murderer who abducted him (shown above). The film is a prequel to Mena’s 2005 feature film debut Malevolance.

He tells Fangoria:

The MPAA has banned the poster for depicting a child holding a weapon. It’s hugely disappointing, because that poster really encapsulated the plot of the film with an intriguing image. It’s a real setback for us, considering the challenges we already face competing for attention with a small budget.

The film’s synopsis reads:

In 1989, six year old Martin Bristoll was kidnapped from his backyard swing in Minersville Pennsylvania. Graham Sutter, a psychotic recluse, kept Martin imprisoned on his derelict pig farm, forcing him to witness and participate in unspeakable horrors. Chosen at random, his victim’s screams were drowned out by the rural countryside.

For five years, Martin’s whereabouts have remained a mystery, until 17 year old Allison Miller (Alexandra Daddario) comes to live with her Uncle, Jonathan (Michael Biehn). While exploring her new surroundings, Allison discovers things aren’t quite right at the farmhouse down the road. Her curiosity disturbs a hornet’s nest of evil and despair that once torn open, can never be closed.

Personally, I think the MPAA have read the poster all wrong. Yes, it conveys the film’s horrific plot, but it also speaks to how rewarding it is to mentor children. Sure, teaching a kid how to gut a hot chick isn’t going to provide much of a future for that kid, but it would boost the killer’s self esteem, something they commonly lack. Just saying.

The film, which began principal photography this week in Los Angeles, stars Thomas Dekker (Nightmare on Elm Street), Danielle Harris (Halloween), Michael Biehn (Terminator), Brian Austin Green (proprietor of Megan Fox’s vagina) , and Nick Principe as ChromeSkull.

Hall says (via press release):

We’re doubling the carnage and doubling the fun. I know we raised the bar on the last one but people have no idea what’s in store in that department for the sequel- it’s the original and THEN SOME.

I’m so happy to have such a stellar cast involved and I think [producer/cowriter Kevin Bocarde] and I have come up with a cool way to bring Chromey back without going all nutty and breaking our own rules.

Laid to Rest starred Bobbi Sue Luther as a prostitute who wakes up in a coffin with temporary amnesia and must evade the sadistic killer who abducted her. Aside from ChromeSkull’s shiny noggin, his shoulder mounted camcorder differentiates him from other movie maniacs.

ChromeSkull: Laid to Rest 2 is slated for a 2011 Halloween release.
