Posted above is the artwork for Anchor Bay Entertainment’s remake of the 1994 cult classic Embrace of the Vampire, an erotic supernatural thriller about a college virgin’s sexual awakening at the hands of handsome vampire. The film  arrives on DVD and Blu-ray on Oct. 15.

Up-and-comer Sharon Hinnendael plays Charlotte Wells, the chaste young woman seduced in dreams by a vampire promising her a life of emotional and sexual fulfillment. Alyssa Milano toplessly played the part in the original.

Hinnendael, no stranger to nudity, is best known for her role as teen party girl Hannah on the short-lived Showtime series “Look.” The Wisconsin-born starlet also stars in the horror-indies Machine Head and Rites of Passage, the fun must-see directorial debut from Point Break writer Peter Iliff.
