Shit a brick and fuck me with it! Jennifer Carpenter, best known for her portrayal of potty-mouthed Lt. Debra Morgan on Showtime’s “Dexter,” is set to star in screenwriter S. Craig Zahler’s (Asylum Blackout) directorial debut Bone Tomahawk, a cannibal western starring Kurt Russell, Peter Sarsgaard and Richard Jenkins

Russell toplines the film as a sheriff leading a group of misfits—a gunfighter, a cowboy and an old man—on a mission to rescue captives taken by a band of cannibals. Carpenter plays one of the taken. Shooting will take place this spring in New Mexico.

Carpenter made her horror debut as the lead in 2005’s The Exorcism of Emily Rose. Additional genre creds include the outbreak frightener Quarantine and the serial killer dramas Gone and The Factory. She’ll next be seen Christian Christiansen’s (The Roommate) The Occult.
