Madison Davenport, best known for battling vampires in Robert Rodriguez’s “From Dusk Till Dawn: The Series,” is now facing off against a new heavy in Hungry, a killer hippo thriller from writer and director James Nunn (Shark Bait) for Aura Entertainment.

Hungry stars Davenport as a hot chick who joins her friends on a boat tour through a Louisiana bayou—only to discover the waters are prowled by a hungry, hungry hippopotamus.

Davenport first captured our black hearts in El Rey’s small screen adaptation of From Dusk Till Dawn, playing hot preacher’s daughter Kate Fuller. She went on to co-star in HBO’s “Sharp Objects,” portraying a hot cheerleader with insight into the show’s murder mystery. On the big screen, she appeared opposite Jeffrey Dean Morgan (“Walking Dead”) in producer Sam Raimi’s Possession—based on the creepy Dibbuk Box internet urban legend brought to light in the 2004 Los Angeles Times piece “A Jinx in a Box.”
