Anna Faris returns to the Scary Movie franchise this summer alongside the Wayans Brothers, who created and launched the series 26 years ago but departed after 2001’s Scary Movie 2. Faris, who headlined the first four Scary Movie films, reprises her role as Cindy Campbell to spoof acclaimed horror hits such as Scream, M3GAN, Sinners, Weapons, Get Out, The Substance, and more.

The new Scary Movie marks a transformative time for Faris, who was 23 when the original parody became a box office hit. A string of comedy successes followed well into her forties, including The Hot Chick with Rob Schneider, Waiting and Just Friends with Ryan Reynolds, The House Bunny, Take Me Home Tonight, and the long-running CBS show “Mom.” Now approaching a hot 50, she leaves her MILF era behind as she enters GILF-hood.

Scary Movie arrives in theaters June 12.
