The bloody braggarts at Dread Central are exclusively reporting that Megan Fox will join director Karyn Kusama and Oscar-winning writer Diablo Cody in resurrecting Jennifer’s Body for a long awaited sequel.

Released in 2009, Jennifer’s Body starred Fox as a high school heartbreaker turned man-eater after a fateful encounter with a band of satanists. Amanda Seyfried played her best friend and foil—no word yet if she’ll return.

Despite its quality kills, gut-busting laughs, and hot make out session between Fox and Seyfried, Jennifer’s Body collapsed at the box office. But it’s grown new legs in recent years, becoming a cult classic among feminist film geeks and chronic masturbators—all eager for more.

The sequel goes into production in October.
