“X-Files” star Gillian Anderson posed nude with a conger eel wrapped around her shoulders to show support for U.K. based Fishlove’s new campaign in support of sustainable fishing. While the sight of naked Scully is welcomed, that is one ugly fucking eel. One look at that thing, and people will want them extinct.

Anderson, best known for playing FBI Agent Dana Scully on “The X-Files,” is a recurring on NBC’s new “Hannibal” series, playing Hannibal Lecture’s shrink. She’s recently starred in a string of genre offerings, including the robot-apocalypse drama Our Robot Overloads, the alien thriller I’ll Follow You Down, and the zom–com Curse of the Buxom Strumpet.
Wonder Woman fans are getting their star-spangled Underroos in bunch over Warner Bros. and director Zack Snyder’s casting of Fast & Furious franchise star Gal Gadot as the iconic Amazonian Princess in Batman Vs. Superman. The part is the Israeli stunner’s first lead role.

Not only is Gal an amazing actress, but she also has that magical quality that makes her perfect for the role.

Gadot reportedly edged out French starlet Elodie Yung (G.I. Joe: Retaliation) and Ukrainian goddess Olga Kurylenko(Oblivion) for the role. Personally, I favored Jaimie Alexander (Thor: The Dark World), who expressed interest in playing Wonder Woman a couple of months back.
Batman Vs. Superman will have Man of Steel actors Henry Cavill, Amy Adams, Laurence Fishburne and Diane Lane reprising their roles. Batman will be played by Ben Affleck, stepping in for Christian Bale, who played the Caped Crusader in Warner Bros. Dark Knight trilogy.
Warner Bros. released a new trailer for Noam Murro’s 300: Rise of an Empire, a companion film to the Zack Snyder-directed blockbuster 300, has gone online. Snyder produces and adapts the Frank Miller graphic novel with screenwriter Kurt Johnstad (300, Act of Valor).
Rise of an Empire follows Athenian general Themistokles (Sullivan Stapleton) as he battles Persian king Xerxes (Rodrigo Santoro) and his vengeful navy commander Artemesia (Eva Green). The events occur at the same time that King Leonidas is leading his 300 Spartans into the Battle of Thermopylae.
300: Rise of an Empire arrives in theaters March 7, 2014.
Oona Chaplin (“Game of Thrones”) is set to star in the Spanish thriller Purgatorio. Chaplin, the great granddaughter of Charlie Chaplin, will play a woman who agrees to babysit a neighbor’s creepy kid. Things go bad when the neighbor never returns, and the child claims to see a mysterious boy in the house.
According to Variety, the role marks Chaplin’s first gig as lead actress. The film is directed by Catalan Pau Teixidor for Apaches Entertainment, and co-stars Andres Gertrudix (The Orphanage), Ana Fernandez (“Talk to Her”), and Sergi Mendez (“Hispania , la Leyenda”).
Chaplin held bit parts in the insanely awesome Saddam Hussein drama The Devil’s Double and the James Bond actioner Quantum of Solace. She is best known, however, for her tragic role as Robb Stark’s pregnant wife Talisa Maegyr on HBO’s “Game of Thrones.”
Anchor Bay has set a Feb. 11 DVD release date for Sorority Party Massacre. The slasher stars scream queen stunners Marissa Skell (“Dexter”), Rebecca Grant (Sink Hole), Eve Mauro (Zombie vs. Strippers), Casey Fitzgerald (Cowboys vs. Dinosaurs), Adrian Kirk (616: Paranormal Incident), and Yvette Yates.
Sorority Party Massacre finds a college town sheriff teaming up with a big city cop to investigate a 20-year string of sorority sister abductions and murders. The film is co-directed by Chris W. Freeman and Justin Jones.

Elizabeth Olsen is confirmed to play Scarlet Witch in Joss Whedon’s The Avengers: Age of Ultron. The Scarlet Witch is the scantly-clad, large-breasted mutant daughter of Magneto. Shes is also Quicksilver’s incestuous twin sister.
I just love Scarlet Witch. I love her. It’s so funny because I’m often talking about all these psychologically damaged people, but when you talk about Scarlet Witch… She is a messed up lady. She has got more shit to deal with than anybody else I know.
I’m excited to figure out what’s appropriate to use for her, because there’s so much material from all of these decades, and we’re going to tell this one story. So to be able to choose what you’re going to bring into it from all of this abundance, it’s really fun.

Olsen can currently be seen in Spike Lee’s American remake of South Korean director Park Chan-wook’s classic revenge-thriller Oldboy, in which she goes nude. She’ll next be seen in Warner Bros. and Legendary Pictures’ Godzilla reboot.
Olsen creds include the critically acclaimed indie-drama Martha Marcy May Marlene, Open Road’s American remake of the Uruguayan frightener Silent House and Rodrigo Cortes’ Red Lights, opposite Robert De Niro.
A new trailer has gone online for director Josh C. Wallers’ feature film debut Raze: Fight or Die. Described by producers as a cross between Fight Club and Hostel, the film’s story finds 50 abducted women fighting against each other to the death without pillows or jello.
Stunner Rachel Nichols (Conan) and stuntwoman-turned-actress Zoe Bell (Death Proof) topline the film. Co-stars include hotties Rebecca Marshall (Saw 3-D), Nicole Steinwedell (“The Unit”), Adrienne Wilkinson (”Xena”), Tara Macken (”Sons of Anarchy”), Victoria Cruz (Reach), and Bailey Borders (The Change-Up).

IFC Midnight will release Raze: Fight or Die in select theaters on Jan. 10.
Tara Reid is not an actress to rest on her laurels, no matter how groundbreaking and inspirational they may have been. Case in point, rather than retire on the juggernaut that was Sharknado, she is moving on to star in the new Australian slasher Charlie’s Farm.
Set in the Australian outback, Charlie’s Farm is the location of a brutal family murder at the hands of an angry mob. Reid plays one of four friends exploring the property for thrills. Things take a nasty turn when they run into Charlie, a seven-foot tall, 375-lbs killing machine.
Reid is joined in the film by co-stars Bill Moseley (The Devil’s Rejects), Kane Hodder (Hatchet), and Nathan Jones (Mad Max: Fury Road) as Charlie the killer. Charlie’s Farm is written and directed by Chris Sun (Daddy’s Little Girl, Come and Get Me)
Emily Blunt is set to star in Langley Park’s big screen adaptation of Rosamund Lupton’s bestselling crime novel Sisters. Set in London, the story finds Blunt playing Beatrice, a straitlaced woman investigating the death of her free-spirit sister, Tess, long after police and family have ruled the tragedy a suicide.
As Beatrice probes into the case, she discovers that Tess was involved in an illicit affair with a married man and had been impregnated with his baby. If that weren’t enough to raise red flags on her suicide, Tess was also the object of a stalker’s obsession and a participant in a risky medical experiment trial.
Blunt is coming off Rian Johnson’s acclaimed sci-fi actioner Looper. Her creds include Universal Pictures’ 2010 reboot of The Wolfman and 2011’s The Adjustment Bureau, its adaptation of Philip K. Dick’s short story “The Adjustment Team.” She’ll next be seen alongside Tom Cruise in Edge of Tomorrow.
A German trailer for Cabin Fever: Patient Zero has gone online. The film is the newest entry in the Cabin Fever franchise and serves as a prequel. Kaare Andrews (Altitude) directs from a script by Jake Wade Wall, writer of the awesome Amusement and The Hitcher and When a Stranger Calls remakes.
Patient Zero follows friends on a Caribbean holiday who start to fall victim to a flesh-eating disease. A mysterious stranger unaffected by the outbreak holds the key to their salvation or demise. Cast includes Sean Astin (Lord of the Rings), Jillian Murray (The Graves), and model/actress Lydia Hearst (pictured).
