A trailer for 20th Century Studios’ Predator: Badlands has gone online. Helmed by Prey director Dan Trachtenberg, the standalone film is the eighth entry in the long-running franchise and arrives in theaters on Nov. 7.

Badlands introduces a young Predator as its protagonist and follows him on a mission with Elle Fanning by his side. Fanning was rumored to be playing hot twins, but appears to be a hot Weyland-Yutani synthetic, like Bishop in Aliens and Andy in Alien: Romulus, connecting the Predator and Alien franchises.

The Predator design is terrible. He looks like an inner city version of Eric Stoltz in The Mask, not the fierce alien warriors we’ve come to know.
