It is a glorious day for Star Wars fans. Variety.com posted exclusive images from J.J. Abrams’ Star Wars: The Force Awakens. The pics were shot by Annie Leibovitz and give us our first look at Adam Driver (“Girls”) as Kylo Ren and Gwendoline Christie (“Game of Thrones”) as Captain Phasma.

Both Kylo Ren and Captain Phasma are loyalists to what remains of the Empire after its defeat in Return of the Jedi. Variety also reveals pics of Lupita Nyong in the motion capture that will transform her into pirate Maz Kanata, Oscar Isaac as a Resistance X-Wing pilot, and a variety of colorful background characters.

Star Wars: The Force Awakens arrives in theaters Dec. 18.

Gravitas Ventures has acquired distribution rights to writing and directing duo Kenny Gage and Devon Downs’ gruesome new slasher Anarchy Parlor (formerly titled Parlor). The company will release the film in theaters June 19 and on VOD May 12.

Robert Lasardo stars as an internationally renowned tattoo artist living in Lithuania where he targets American tourists with great skin for use in an underground art business. Complications arise when his protégé, played by Finnish model/actress and tattoo artist Sara Fabel, grows jealous over one of victims.

Clatto caught the world premiere of Anarchy Parlor last year at Screamfest LA, and not only was it the best film at the festival, it proved to be one of the most enthralling and fun slashers in recent horror, chockful of outrageous gore, frivolous nudity, and twisted humor.

Fairy tales can come true; it can happen to you, but pray they come from the Mouse House and not 17^th century Italian author Giambattista Basile, whose collection of tales “Pentamerone” includes the earliest and most gruesome versions of “Sleeping Beauty,” “Rapunzel,” “Snow White” and “Puss and Boots.”

“Pentamerone,” also known as “Tale of Tales, or Entertainment for Little Ones,” is source material for director Matteo Garrone’s “Tales of Tales,” an enthralling, visually stunning piece of fantasy, starring Vincent Cassel, John C. Reilly, and a ravenous Salma Hayek. A trailer is now online, and it must be seen.

It Follows star Maika Monroe is set to star in Roland Emmerich’s Independence Day 2, the sequel to the master of disaster’s epic 1996 alien invasion classic. Monroe replaces Mae Whitman (The Duff) as the President’s daughter and Liam Hemsworth’s (Hunger Games) love interest.

Monroe’s casting doesn’t come without controversy. While no one doubts the young up-and-comer’s talent and growing buzz, many insiders believe she was given the role by 20 Century Fox to remedy the fact that Whitman, who played the President’s young daughter in the original film, lacks stroke-value.

Men have dealt with it for years. What’s that hot chick doing with that old, fat dude? Must be money. But if that hot chick is with a Liam Hemsworth-looking dude, they don’t question the attraction. Personally, I think they still could have recast hotter. Was Megan Fox not around?

Releasing June 24, 2016, Independence Day 2 co-stars Jessie Usher (InAPPropriate Comedy), Charlotte Gainsbourg (Antichrist), Joey King (The Conjuring) and original stars Bill Pullman, Jeff Goldblum, Judd Hirsch, and Vivica A. Fox.

A trailer has gone online for director Rodney Ascher’s The Nightmare, a disturbing documentary on sleep paralysis. Eight people afflicted by the condition share tales of their horrifying experiences. Sleep paralysis affects many, a large number of whom report seeing shadowy figures looming over them.

The film scared the shit out of audiences at Sundance and SXSW, garnering plenty of positive buzz. Whether you have ever suffered an episode or not, sleep paralysis is just freaky. Watch the trailer posted below and think about it tonight in bed. The Nightmare arrives on VOD and selected theaters June 5.

Fans lamenting the lack of Daenerys Targaryen nudity on HBO’s “Game of Thrones” these past two seasons were rewarded for their patience this week with a glorious peek at the Queen of Dragons’ naked tush sauntering seductively in a Volantis whorehouse, wearing a bottomless gown (pictured).

Okay… so it wasn’t actress Emilia Clarke baring her arse. It was British porn star Samantha Bentley portraying an extremely cunning prostitute who has become the brothel’s superstar by mimicking Daenerys Targaryen’s royal garbs and blonde locks to seduce those who “want to fuck a queen.”

Bentley told adult trade XBIZ:

It’s just an honor to be part of such a huge show. It’s such an overwhelming feeling. It means so much to me. I only had a small role last season but getting the part was awesome and it got such a great response. So I was really, really nervous this time.

As far as experiences go, it’s a career highlight and I’m so honored that they had me back this season. It’s opened a door for me to do other things. It’s one of the best things I’ve ever done.

Bentley made her “Game of Thrones” debut as a bathhouse prostitute in the city of Bravos in season four’s episode “The Laws of God and Men.” It’s unclear if her character in season five is the same, but we like to think so and hope to see a lot more of Bentley.

Bentley is the star of such family classics as London Bitches Falling Down, Fingers, Tongues, and Bums, Lick My Slit, and the appropriately titled Samantha Bentley is Filthy. In 2013, she was named Best Female Performer by the U.K. Producers Awards, and scored an AVN award for Best All-Girl Group Sex Scene.

Warner Bros. has released the final trailer for director George Miller’s Mad Max: Fury Road, the third sequel in the blockbuster franchise launched by Miller in 1979 with Mel Gibson in the role of “Mad” Max Rockatansky.

Picking up after the events in Mad Max: Beyond Thunderdome, the new film stars Tom Hardy (Dark Knight Rises) as the iconic antihero and Charlize Theron as Furiosa, the elite Imperator he helps across the wasteland. Mad Max: Fury Road arrives in theaters May 15.

Posted above is our first look at Jared Leto as the Joker in Fury director David Ayer’s Suicide Squad, an adaptation of the DC Comic about a group of super-villains brought together by a government agency for a suicide mission.

The new look is outrageous, but more modern than comic book fantasy. This is the type of tattooed freak who will do all kinds of fucked up shit to score some meth, be it suck your dick or terrorize a city. Personally, we think he looks like Josh Todd, front-man for rockers Buckcherry.

Leto has starred in number of noteworthy genre films, including Mary Harron’s adaptation of Bret Easton Ellis’ American Psycho, Jeb Stuart’s highly underrated serial killer drama Switchback, guilty pleasure Urban Legend, and David Fincher’s brilliant thrillers Panic Room and Fight Club.

Suicide Squad opens Aug. 5, 2016.

BH Tilt has set a May 15 VOD and limited theatrical release date for director Oren Peli’s Area 51. Shot in 2008, the alien thriller is presented as found-footage and marks Peli’s only other directorial effort since 2007’s runaway hit Paranormal Activity.

Area 51 centers on three teenagers and the footage they film while exploring the mysterious Area 51 at Nellis Air Force Base in Nevada.

Nowadays, Peli is a producer. His projects have included Insidious 2 & 3, Rob Zombie’s The Lords of Salem, and the found footage frightners Chernobyl Diaries, Barry Levinson’s The Bay and the short-lived ABC series “The River.”

Twentieth Century Fox released a new trailer for Marvel Studios’ Fantastic Four. The reboot is Chronicle director Josh Trank’s leap into the big-budget superhero realm. It stars Miles Teller as Mr. Fantastic, Kate Mara as the Invisible Woman, Michael B. Jordan as Human Torch, and Jamie Bell as Thing.

The new trailer is sweet, chockful of action and humor and everything that could make this reboot so much better than 2005’s adaptation except, of course, Jessica Alba. Oh well, it doesn’t matter. That character is invisible… just like most female roles in these men-in-tights adventures.
