Stuart Gordon’s Re-Animator: The Musical is extending its Los Angeles run until Nov. 23. The show plays the Steve Allen Theater Fridays through Sundays at 8 p.m. The award-winning musical returned this year after its original 2011 L.A. run with new songs for a special Halloween engagement.

Re-Animator: The Musical is also heading to Las Vegas and will run Jan. 6 through Jan. 18 at the Smith Center for the Performing Arts. In addition to L.A. and now Vegas, the show has played New York and Europe. In a release, Gordon said he was “looking forward to new blood in the audience.”

Adapted from Gordon’s beloved 1985 film, the production follows the grisly havoc caused by med school students Herbert West and Dan Cain after they set out to reanimate human corpses. Graham Skipper reprises the role of West and Jesse Merlin returns as West’s nemesis and plagiarist Dr. Hill.
