Jaime King (My Bloody Valentine 3D) has signed on to star opposite genre icon Malcolm McDowell (Clockwork Orange) in director Steven C. Miller’s (Scream of the Banshee) remake of Charles E. Sellier, Jr.’s beloved 1984 holiday classic Silent Night, Deadly Night.
King will play Aubrey Bradimore, Deputy Sheriff to McDowell’s Sheriff Cooper. The duo will face off against a murderous Santa out to slaughter naughty young women and the men who screw them. Donal Logue (Shark Night 3D), Jamie Kennedy (Scream), Brendan Fehr (”Roswell”), Lisa Marie (Lords of Salem), and Ellen Wong (”The Carrie Diaires”) costar.
Silent Night, Deadly Night will go into production next week in Winnipeg. The remake is slated for release this holiday season. Anchor Bay will distribute the Genre Company and Buffalo Gal Pictures production.
