Model-turned-actress Tanit Phoenix is back behind the wheel of Universal Home Entertainment’s new Death Race installment. Also along for the ride are franchise stars Luke Goss, Robin Shou, Ving Rhames and Danny Trejo.
Picking up where part two left off, Death Race 3: Inferno takes place in the South African desert. Death Race 2 director Roel Reine once again returns to the helm. The sequel is set to arrive on home video in December.
The original Death Race 2000 was produced by Roger Corman in 1975 and starred chronic masturbator David Carradine and Sylvester Stallone. The film was remade by director Paul W.S. Anderson (Resident Evil: Afterlife) in 2008 with Jason Statham in the driver’s seat. The remake earned over $72 million in worldwide coin.
