Anne Hathaway Takes ‘Shower’

Anne-Hathaway-sexy

Anne Hathaway is set to produce and star in The Shower, a sci-fi comedy that unfortunately has nothing to do with Hathaway soaping up for 90-minutes. The plot instead revolves around a bunch of women whose baby shower is interrupted by a meteor shower that turns men into bloodthirsty aliens.

It sounds pretty silly, but producers are describing the film as a mix of This Is the End, Bridesmaids, and the over-hyped Attack the Block. The script was written by Jac Schaeffer, who describes the story as “a story that is ultimately about female friendship, with a lot of ass-kicking along the way.”

Hathaway hath stayed away from our beloved horror genre, starring only in the 2008 thriller Passengers, Tim Burton’s awful Alice In Wonderland, and Chris Nolan’s Dark Knight Rises and Interstellar. The Shower has yet to secure a director.
