Like most young kids with an Atari, I had zero interest in books growing up … until the day I couldn’t find Cliff Notes for Ray Bradbury’s Fahrenheit 451 and had no choice but to read it for a book report. My passion for literature was immediately ignited, destined to burn bright until I discovered pornography.

Now, HBO Films has now adapted Fahrenheit 451 for a new generation that doesn’t know what books are and is obsessed with being famous on social media – so, yeah, don’t count on them watching. But, we old fogies will have a blast pointing out how Bradbury called it way back in the 50s!

Fahrenheit 451 stars Michael B. Jordan as Guy Montag, a “fireman” tasked with burning books in a dystopian society where people are happily kept ignorant by their government, Michael Shannon as his boss Captain Beatty, and stunner Sofia Boutella – of Mummy, Atomic Blonde, Kingsman fame – as Clarisse, the young woman who opens his eyes.

Canadian stunner Tiera Skovbye (“Once Upon a Time”) plays hot neighbor Nikki Kaszuba in the 80s based coming-of-age thriller Summer of 84. Helmed by three director dudes calling themselves RKSS, the film follows a group of horny teenage boys determined to expose a local cop as the town’s elusive serial killer.

Skovbye is best known for playing Robin Hood’s daughter on ABC’s fairy tale series “Once Upon a Time” and Betty Cooper’s daughter Polly on the CW’s Archie comics adaptation “Riverdale.” She’s also starred in a string of scandalous Lifetime movies, including The Unauthorized Saved by the Bell Story, in which she played infamous actress Elizabeth Berkley.

Lionsgate Home Entertainment has set a Feb. 13 OnDemand and home video release date for Hellraiser: Judgement, the tenth entry in the popular Hellraiser franchise spawned by Clive Barker’s titillating and terrifying novella, “The Hellbound Heart.”

Hellraiser: Judgement follows three detectives sucked into a Cenobite hell while on the trail of a sadistic serial killer. Effects guru Gary J. Tunnicliffe (X-Men Origins: Wolverine) is at the helm with Paul T. Taylor (Sin City) stepping in for Doug Bradley as its iconic movie monster, Pinhead.

This new Hellraiser looks sick. The Cenobites are gross and cool and Pinhead remains regal and menacing… and, holy shit, the Surgeon! Special features on the Blu-ray include deleted and extended scenes and a gag reel – because eviscerating people in gruesome ways always leads to uncontrollable chuckles!

Family entertainment takes on a whole new meaning with Leatherface, the eighth entry in the Texas Chainsaw Massacre franchise. Helmed by celebrated horror auteurs Alexandre Bustillo and Julien Maury (Inside), the film serves as a prequel to Tobe Hooper’s 1974 original classic, providing an introduction to the Sawyer family of cannibalistic killers and an origins tale for its chainsaw-wielding maniac, Leatherface.

The film is available on DVD and Blu-ray from Lionsgate Home Entertainment.

Set in the 50’s, Leatherface presents a surprisingly engaging narrative with masterfully crafted set pieces that suck you in immediately. Its guess who is Leatherface story hook is a bit predictable and unnecessary, but doesn’t take away from the film’s drama. The violence and gore isn’t as over-the-top as it has been in other Texas Chainsaw sequels because Leatherface isn’t doing the heavy lifting, but that’s okay because the film’s point is to show us what made him such a monster.

Our only real issues with Leatherface are that the guy who turns out to be the iconic murderer is so much smaller than we have seen before and that Bustillo and Maury’s alternate ending (bonus feature) is a million times better than the conclusion they chose to go with for its final release. That horrific and heartbreaking end finds Leatherface cutting pieces from the face of a living victim he loves for the mask he wears to conceal his deformed face. It’s a truly disturbing image and a perfect end to a story that details the transformation of a hapless boy to troubled youth to love-struck kid to deranged psychopath.

Why Bustillo and Maury couldn’t keep that end is an unfortunate mystery, but one that doesn’t totally sink their efforts. What follows is our spoiler-filled review…

Leatherface kicks off clumsily with Sawyer matriarch Verna gifting tween son Jedidiah with a chainsaw and victim on his birthday as his grandpa and siblings goad him on to kill. It’s an outrageous opening in the ridiculous tradition of Bustillo and Maury’s silly and overrated slasher Inside. Thankfully, it can be dismissed and forwarded without consequence.

Leatherface really begins with Jedidiah luring a Texas Ranger’s daughter to her death at the family barn. He performs the task to indulge his brothers’ blood lust and the act that lands them in a mental asylum, where he’s rehabilitated into a fairly decent 20-year-old renamed Jackson for security reasons. His oafish brother, now named Bud, hasn’t fared as well, making them the George Milton and Lennie Smalls of the institution.

Things go bad for Jackson when his mother tracks them down to unsuccessfully enforce visitation rights and springs forth a riot among the inmates, leading to Jackson and Bud’s escape with love-struck lunatics Ike and Clarice – who celebrate their freedom by slaughtering folks at a diner and having a threesome with a corpse they find at a hideout. Nurse Elizabeth White, abducted by the group during the outbreak, is kept safe by Jackson and Bud – both of whom have bonded with their hot and kindhearted caregiver.

Once on the lam, the group is pursued by Texas Ranger Hartman, vengeful father of the girl murdered by the Sawyer boys in their barn a decade ago. He’s relentless and grateful for the opportunity to avenge his daughter and put the Sawyer boys down.

Stephen Dorff portrays Hartman with all the menacing intensity usually reserved for his roles as villain and pits the lawman against the Sawyer clan with ruthless righteousness and hate. He tracks Clarice down and executes her pointblank when she mocks his deceased daughter during questioning. He fires the shot that disfigures Jackson’s face during a getaway car chase. He holds Jackson and Elizabeth hostage at the Sawyer barn, plotting out his retribution.

Betrayed by his dumb-ass deputy, Hartman’s plan goes awry before he’s ready and Elizabeth meets the Sawyers. Jackson is revealed to be Leatherface as his torn face is stitched together by his mother and held in place with a muzzle. He appears to be a bit traumatized by his ordeal, but knows Hartman is to blame for his newfound torment and, after so many years of inner struggle, submits to the Sawyer way, eviscerating the Ranger with a chainsaw.

Elizabeth escapes only to get caught in the woods where she attempts to remind Jackson of their friendship at the asylum as he looms over her with revved chainsaw.

Leatherface is welcomed addition to the Texas Chainsaw Massacre canon, but as far as we at Clatto are concerned, the most worthy entries since the 1974 original remain Platinum Dunes 2003 remake of The Texas Chainsaw Massacre and its 2006 prequel The Texas Chainsaw Massacre: The Beginning.

A trailer has gone online for horror-comedy The Night Sitter, starring “The Walking Dead’s” Elyse Dufour. The sexy redhead plays a thief posing as a hot babysitter to hit the home of a wealthy mark, an enthusiast of the dark arts with a misfit son, who inadvertently summons a trio of sinister witches.

Horror fans may recognize Dufour from her recurring role as Neegan’s hottest wife on AMC’s “The Walking Dead.” She’s also done guest roles on TV series “Sleepy Hollow” and “Constantine” and appeared in indie frighteners SiREN, Drakul, and Alvin and the Chipmunks: The Road Chip.

Aviron Pictures has a fill-length trailer for Strangers: Prey at Night, the long gestating and eagerly awaited sequel to Bryan Bertino’s terrifying 2008 home invasion classic, The Strangers. Johannes Roberts (47 Meters Down) is at the helm with a script penned by Bertino and Ben Ketai (30 Days of Night: Dark Days).

Christina Hendricks (”Mad Men”) plays the busty matriarch of a family stranded at an abandoned trailer park where they are tormented by three masked killers: Pin-up Girl (Lea Enslin), Dollface (Emma Bellomy), and Man in the Mask (Damian Maffei). In theaters March 9.

Our list of The 5 Hottest Nude Acting Performances of 2017 is here! It was a huge year for women on the big screen and small as many toplined some of the most successful movie blockbusters and acclaimed television series ever. Unfortunately, most played it safe (we’re looking at you Wonder Woman).

Cortney Palm has captured horror fans’ dark little hearts with appearances in indie thrillers such as Sushi Girl, Silent Night, and Zombeavers and refreshing devil-may-care attitude towards nudity. This year, the slender hottie played a party girl high on peyote and fleeing from a giant ant while shedding her skimpy clothes in the horror-comedy Dead Ant. The scene opens the movie and helps set its outrageous vibe from the get-go.

04. TERESA PALMER (CLARE HAVEL, BERLIN SYNDROME)

Teresa Palmer turns in a powerful nude performance as abducted Australian photographer Clare Havel in one of the year’s most intense thrillers, The Berlin Syndrome. Clare meets a charming high school teacher named Andi while sightseeing and is immediately attracted to his easy manner and charming humor. He shows her round town, leading her back to his towering and isolated apartment for what’s meant to be a prolonged, but temporary, relationship.

Suddenly aware of her entrapment, Clare employs all tactics possible to escape only to have each attempt thwarted at every turn. As months go by, Clare’s nudity goes from frightened and tormented to seductive and cunning to desperate and sad. It’s an emotional roller coaster of Palmer T&A!

03. ANA DE ARMAS (JOI, BLADE RUNNER 2049)

Cuban stunner Ana de Armas, a 2015 Best Nude Acting honoree for her role in the erotic thriller Knock Knock, goes nude as the female lead in Ridley Scott’s eagerly anticipated sequel Blade Runner 2049. Armas plays Joi, a hologram companion with powerful AI capabilities available for purchase to those seeking an enhanced girlfriend experience – in this case, protagonist Blade Runner K.

As Joi, Armas is as wonderfully sweet and vulnerable as she is drop dead sexy – a real departure from her bratty bad girl role in Knock Knock. It’s a star-making part in the vein of Margot Robbie’s full-frontal turn in Martin Scorsese’s Wolf of Wall Street. Sure, Armas’ nudity is quite brief by comparison, but she does it at 50-foot-tall!

02. CARRIE COON (NORA DURST, THE LEFTOVERS)

Carrie Coon would surely be insulted to know she’s ended up on a list such as this, but the acclaimed actress brought us to tears while our trousers were down during the third and final season of HBO’s devastatingly tragic drama series “The Leftovers.” As Nora Durst, Coon often went nude, but this year she ripped our hearts out as she stepped into a machine sure to incinerate her in the hopes of being reunited with her husband and children, taken during the Sudden Departure that took 2% of the world’s population without a trace.

And, yet, through the tears and terror of what could be Nora Durst’s horrific end, we couldn’t help but notice what an amazing tush Coon rocks while climbing up to the machine! Powerful stuff on all levels.

01. RUTH RAMOS (ALEJANDRA, UNTAMED)

Ruth Ramos comes to us from Tijuana, Mexico – the land of hot donkey love. It’s no surprise then she didn’t shy away from the inter-species sex required from her in the role in Amat Escalante’s The Untamed, a pervy creature-feature masquerading as an art-house drama about a small town nurse married to an abusive brute who is having an affair with her brother.

Unlike Guillermo del Toro’s Shape of Water, The Untamed is not a romantic tale where love conquers all, but instead a Pornhub-worthy spectacle of tentacle gangbanging. Ramos has set the nude performance bar pretty high, but here’s hoping there’s a sequel!

We made it to a New Year and that means it’s time to have one last look at the thrillers that thrilled us maybe a little too much in our list of The 10 Sexiest Horror Films of 2017! Chosen by our esteemed nuts for their inadvertent ability to get us off while simultaneously scaring the crap out of us, this year’s honorees include abduction thrillers, erotic mystery, a slasher, a cyborg fantasy, witches and psycho-bitches, a tentacled creature feature, and, of course, some good old fashioned vaginal vengeance.

10. M.F.A.

Francesca Eastwood, daughter of movie icon Clint Eastwood, made our day by making her nude debut in the rape/revenge drama, M.F.A. Eastwood plays Noelle, a meek art student and date-rape victim who transforms into a pink-haired vigilante fearless in her art and murder sprees.

Not as leg-crossingly gruesome as most rape/revenge flicks, M.F.A. is an easy watch for fans of the genre, disposing of frat boy caricatures without the use of gardening sheers or shotguns to the rectum, while amping up Eastwood’s appeal.

09. COVEN

Hot, young witches in lingerie. That’s all it takes for Coven to keep us under its spell. The Wiccan thriller tells the tale of four undergrad witches in search of a new member to take the place of the one they murdered while attempting to unleash the powers of an ancient witch.

Not a single wart on these witches. The flick is chockful of scantly clad goth chicks, lesbian shenanigans, and sexy hazing rituals.

08. CRAZY LAKE

Finally… a movie made by dicks for your dick. We say that in the most complimentary way possible as we are grateful to still see folks brave the ire of today’s pc-crazed culture to produce unapologetically fun sleaze like Crazy Lake.

Crazy Lake finds a bevy of bikini babes getting naked and slaughtered while spring-breaking at a cabin in the woods. The kills aren’t too outrageous, but the boobs and butts are hot so every girl’s death is really kind of sad.

07. GHOST IN THE SHELL

Ghost in the Shell is a big screen adaptation of the Japanese manga of the same name. Scarlett Johansson plays The Major, a special ops cyborg tasked with ending dangerous criminals, while looking as naked as humanly possible in a nude-colored thermoptic suit.

While the suit is a total cheat at nudity, it somehow manages to trick one’s brain into thinking it’s seeing a more than it is. It’s a pretty hot effect that satiates our immediate hunger for naked Scarlett Johansson content until she once again finds an indie she deems worthy of her acclaimed boobage.

06. 68 KILL

68 Kill is a bloody heist flick starring Annalynne McCord (”90219″) as a trashy nut-job using her God-given gifts of tits and ass to manipulate men to do her bidding, including the boyfriend she convinces to help her steal 68K from the landlord she blows in exchange for rent money.

While not technically a horror movie, McCord takes her character beyond psycho-bitch territory – hot and genuinely frightening! All the women in this flick are scary babes, including Alisha Boe (“13 Reasons Why”) as a lingerie-clad abduction victim who’s not as helpless as she appears.

05. REVENGE

Italian actress Matilda Lutz plays a hot, young mistress raped by her sugar-daddy’s friends during a hunting trip in Revenge. While her thong-flashing and stripper dance moves are ill advised around such degenerates, we rally around Lutz and accept the scrotum splatter that follows as justified – mostly because Lutz remains hot while avenging her vagina after being left for dead in the desert and those dudes are pure garbage.

04. L’AMANT DOUBLE

L’Amant Double is a French erotic psychological thriller written and directed by Francois Ozon (Swimming Pool) and starring model/actress Marine Vacth as a melancholy young woman who discovers the shrink she’s fallen in love with has an estranged identical twin brother who is also a therapist.

Bat-shit nutty as she is, she seeks therapy with the brother, willingly submitting to a series of treatment sessions heavy on fucking, humiliation, and kink!

03. HOUNDS OF LOVE

Hounds of Love is the kind of stand-by-your-man romance story we just don’t see anymore — a love affair between a homicidal rapist and the woman who helps him find his victims. Stephen Curry and Emma Booth portray the couple, whose devotion to each other is put to the test when their newest snatch, played by stunner Ashleigh Cummings, shows tremendous resolve for survival.

02. BERLIN SYNDROME

The Berlin Syndrome stars Teresa Palmer as an Australian photographer who hooks up with a seemingly affable high school teacher while vacationing in Berlin and ends up trapped in his apartment after giving up her nappy dugout. Unlike the ladies in your typical rape/revenge flick, Palmer was not asking for trouble and her abductor is more than a rape-happy boogeyman.

The film’s mind-fuck drama and cat-and-mouse moments are absolutely gripping – as is Palmer’s willingness to go nude and/or be in various states of undress throughout.

01. UNTAMED

The Untamed is a pervy creature-feature masquerading as an art-house drama about a small town working class woman married to an abusive brute who is having an affair with her brother. The situation is soon remedied when she discovers a tentacled monster hiding in a cabin in the woods and allows it to tentacle-bang all of her orifices simultaneously, making for an strikingly graphic scene not to be forgotten!

Human Barbie doll and internet sensation Valeria Lukyanova plays a synthetic prostitute in Gravita Ventures’ The Doll. Stunningly lifelike, she’s hired online from a Russian escort service by a couple of pervs eager to kick-start a week of debauchery.

Unfortunately for the lads, the living sex doll is far more damaged than any real hooker and soon turns to slaughtering their degenerate friends. Currently available OnDemand, the film is written and directed by someone named Susannah O’Brien and features a cameo from porn legend Ron Jeremy.

Deep Blue Sea 2, the unexpected sequel to the 1999 sleeper hit about genetically engineered sharks, is coming to Syfy next year and it has secured an R rating for violence and gore, leading to the possibility of a non-cheesy Syfy flick. Also promising is that the lead scientist’s name is Dr. Misty Calhoun!

Deep Blue Sea 2 finds Dr. Misty Calhoun consulting on a top secret project funded by a pharmaceutical billionaire and utilizing bull sharks as its test subjects. The latter, unbeknownst to Dr. Misty, soon leads to horrific consequences.

Taking on the role of Dr. Misty Calhoun is Danielle Savre, best known for her recurring role as Jackie Wilcox on NBC’s “Heroes” and the final girl in 2007’s Boogeyman 2. Savre has also appeared in episodes of “Charmed,” “The X-Files,” and “Supernatural.”
