From a House On Willow Street finds Vinson as part of a kidnapping duo who abduct the daughter of wealthy diamond distributor only to discover she’s possessed by an evil entity.
Horror fans were first introduced to Vinson in director Kimble Rendall’s awesome shark thriller Bait. Crossover recognition came soon after in Adam Wingard’s critically acclaimed home invasion thriller You’re Next. Vinson also starred in Mark Hartley’s underrated remake of Richard Franklin’s Patrick.
Model and actress Melissa Bolona stars in The Neighbor, a new thriller from director Marcus Dunstan and writer Patrick Melton, the talented and twisted duo behind white-knuckle frighteners Feast, The Collector and The Collection.
Set in Cutter, Mississippi, The Neighbor tells the terrifying tale of a man who finds his missing girlfriend in a neighbor’s house along with a group of kidnap victims and attempts to lead them to safety. Things get dicey when the neighbor gets home.
Joining Bolona in The Neighbor are Dunstan and Melton regular Josh Stewart (The Collector, The Collection) and stunners Alex Essoe (Starry Eyes), Jaqueline Fleming (Abraham Lincoln: Vampire Hunter), and Heather Williams (Sorrow).
Kids are annoying little shits, but never more so than when they’re demonically possessed. Ugh, they’re insufferable… and powerful! A kid you can’t smack around or toss in a dumpster is truly a nightmare come to life.
That is why Ouija: Origin of Evil looks pretty damn frightening. A sequel to the 2014 original, the new film is set in 1965 Los Angeles and follows a single mom and the two young daughters she employs to run a seance scam. The youngest gets possessed and becomes a twitching, face-distorting brat.
The visuals are seriously disturbing and far more creepy than the original. Arrives Oct. 21.
HBO has released a full-length trailer for “Westworld,” a re-imagining of the 1973 sci-fi classic about androids run amok in an amusement park for humans to indulge in their lust for blood and sex. Noble endeavors are available too, but who would stand in line for that? Get us a FastPass to the brutality!

A new trailer has gone online for Sony Pictures’ Inferno, the third film in the Robert Langdon franchise based on the chart-topping novels by Dan Brown. Ron Howard returns to the helm with Tom Hanks reprising his role as the beloved Harvard symbologist. In theaters Oct. 28.
Inferno is adapted by David Koepp (Angels and Demons) and finds Langdon suffering from amnesia in Italy. Felicity Jones (Rogue One) plays Dr. Sienna Brooks, a roguish rebel out to destroy the Death Star … oh, wait, scratch that. She’s Langdon’s ally, helping him stop a plague inspired by Dante’s “Inferno.”
Warner Bros. has released a trailer for the British zombie thriller The Girl With All the Gifts, directed by Colm McCarthy (Outcast) and based on Mike Carey’s 2014 novel of the same name. The film stars Sennia Nanua in her feature film debut, Glenn Close (Fatal Attraction), and Gemma Arterton (Disappearance of Alice Creed).
The Girl With All the Gifts finds Britain’s population nearly wiped out by a fungal outbreak and its only hope found in a group of hybrid zombie children experimented on by results-driven scientist. Nanua plays Melanie, the girl who could bring salvation, Glenn Close is the scientist, and Arterton is a former teacher who has developed a bond with Melanie.
Pop-singer-turned-actress Mandy Moore and Aquarius star Claire Holt play cage-diving sisters trapped In The Deep of Johannes Roberts’ upcoming shark thriller, set to release on home platforms and VOD Aug. 2 from Dimension Films, Anchor Bay Entertainment, and Starz Digital.
In The Deep finds Moore and Holt vacationing in Mexico off the coast of Huatulco on a cage-diving expedition to observe Great White sharks. When the cables snap and the cage sinks to the bottom of the ocean, the sisters have less than an hour of oxygen to get back to the surface in shark infested waters.
In The Deep marks Mandy Moore’s horror debut. The busty singer is best known for a string of romantic comedies and Disney fare.
Claire Holt made her horror debut in 2009’s Messengers 2: The Scarecrow. After a recurring role in ABC Family/Freeform’s sexy teen soap “Pretty Little Liars,” Holt went on to star on The CW’s “Vampire Diaries” and its spinoff “The Originals.” She also co-stars on NBC’s Charles Manson drama “Aquarius.”
Warner Bros. has released a new trailer for Lights Out, a creepy new frightener from producer James Wan (The Conjuring) marking the feature film debut of director David F. Sandberg (Annabelle 2). Written by Eric Heisserer (The Thing, 2011), the film stars Teresa Palmer as a woman revisited by a childhood terror.
Lights Out is Palmer’s return to our beloved genre since 2011’s horror-comedy Warm Bodies. The Aussie stunner first caught fright fans eyes as a mean schoolgirl in Takashi Shimizu’s The Grudge 2 in 2006. Additional creds include I Am Number Four, The Sorcerer’s Apprentice, Bedtime Stories, and Restraint.
Rogue One: A Star Wars Story follows the Rebellion team tasked with stealing the plans to the Empire’s Death Star, leading to its destruction in the 1977 original Star Wars: A New Hope. Set to release Dec. 16, the prequel is directed by Gareth Edwards (Godzilla) and written by Chris Weitz (Cinderella).

Move over Blake Lively, Tara Reid isn’t ready to give up her reign as shark babe. The much maligned Sharknado star returns to franchise in its third sequel Sharknado: The 4th Awakens, winning an obviously rigged social media campaign deciding her character’s fate.
While there’s no way we’d believe an actress so hated as Reid would be voted back into the fold by social media users, we’re happy Syfy is bringing back the American Pie stunner. We haven’t actually seen any of the Sharknado films, but we like having a reason to post her bikini pictures.
