NBC has lassoed in British model/actress Elizabeth Hurley to face-off against Adrianne Palicki on their new small-screen adaptation of DC Comics’ Wonder Woman. No word on which character the 45-year-old stunner will be playing, but she will be bad and she will be hot.
She Tweets:
Thrilled to be doing the NBC pilot Wonder Woman. I’ll be playing the evil villain. Can’t wait.
Created by writer/producer David E. Kelly, the Wonder Woman reboot finds the Amazonian princess fighting crime in her underwear, running a successful corporation as altar ego Diana Prince, and Ouga-Chaka-Ouga-Chak-a-ing with dancing babies to Blue Swede’s “Hooked on a Feeling.”
Hurley, of course, is best known for her role as secret agent/fembot Vanessa Kensington in Austin Powers: International Man of Mystery and its sequel Austin Powers: The Spy Who Shagged Me. She also played a sexy little devil in the underrated comedy Bedazzled.
