Is ‘Glee’ Starlet Dianna Agron Dead Meat in ‘The Hunters’?

Dianna-Agron-vinyl-fetish-wear

While Dianna Agron is the “Glee” star least deserving of being hunted down for brutal slaughter (the Downs kid and the fat “sassy” black chick top my list), so could be her fate in the new Lionsgate survival frightener The Hunters.

Agron, who is coming off DreamWorks’ sci-fi actioner I Am Number 4, plays a graduating high school senior who heads off to the woods to celebrate with friends, but ends up stalked by a group of homicidal gamesmen.

The Hunters is directed by some guy named Chris Briant and will be available on DVD and On Demand on Dec. 27.

Surprise Casting: Sheri Moon Zombie Joins Rob Zombie’s ‘Lords of Salem’

sheri-moon-zombie

Finally, some exciting news from Rob Zombie’s Lords of Salem camp: Sheri Moon Zombie has joined the rock-and-roll witchcraft frightener. OK … so Zombie’s old lady scoring a role in her husband’s flick ain’t much of a surprise—it’s still a far more thrilling bit of casting than say Bruce Dern.

Bloody-Disgusting confirmed the casting this morning, but there’s no word on what role Sheri would be playing (but, the film does revolve around a “blonde rocker chick” who dj’s at a radio station.)

The Lords of Salem follows a 300-year-old coven of witches masquerading as a rock outfit to take over a small town. Oren Peli, Jason Blum, and Steven Schneider—the team behind Paranormal Activity and Insidious—will produce through their company Haunted Films.

Additional costars so far include Torsten Voges (the humorless giant German doc in Judd Apatow’s Funny People), Jeff Daniel Phillips (one half of the caveman pitching team for Geico Insurance), Meg Foster (They Live) and Ernest Thomas (Rog from “What’s Happening”).

Allie MacDonald Is Stephen Moyer’s Jersey (Devil) Girl!

allie-macdonald-jersey-devil

Canadian actress Allie MacDonald is set to star opposite Stephen Moyer and Mia Kirshner in director Darren Lynn Bousman’s (Saw 2, 3, 4) upcoming Jersey Devil project The Barrens. The pretty 23-year-old Canuck will play Sadie Vinyard, daughter to Moyer and Kirshner’s characters Richard and Cynthia Vinyard.

The Barrens follows the Vinyard family as they set out to camp in the New Jersey Pine Barrens, home to the legendary cryptid known as the Jersey Devil. When Richard falls terribly ill, he begins to believe that they are being stalked by the creature.

The film, written by Bousman, costars Erik Knudsen (Scream 4), J. Larose (Saw 3), kid actor Peter DaCunha and Max Topplin (Dead Before Dawn 3-D). Anchor Bay Entertainment will release The Barrens next fall.

MacDonald doesn’t have a lot of creds under her acting belt, but she’ll soon be seen starring alongside Oscar nominated actress Jennifer Lawrence (Hunger Games) and Elisabeth Shue (Piranha 3-D) in director Mark Tonderai’s (Hush) new thriller House at the End of the Street.

Portuguese Starlet Paula Labaredas Bared Da Ass In Vampirella Cosplay Shoot!

Paula-Labaredas-Vampirella-Crotch-Gun

Here you see Portuguese model/actress Paula Labaredas shooting a commercial as comic heroine Vampirella for director Dave Edwards upcoming documentary ComicCosplay, an in depth look at people obsessed with dressing up as their favorite movie, anime, and comic book characters.

These shots were taken at Meltdown Comics in Hollywood, Ca. Labaredas looks hot as hell, but the pics don’t look all that professional which leads me to wonder if she’s been bamboozled into starring in one of those parody pornos the kids are crazy about these days ::cough:: Not Vampirella XXX.

Labaredas’ acting creds include the creature-feature Camel Spiders, an uncredited turn as a Princess Leia cosplayer in the Seth Rogan-voiced alien-comedy Paul, and sex comedies Bachelor Party 2: The Last Temptation and National Lampoon’s Cattle Call.

Warren Publishing first introduced Vampirella in 1969.

Kirsten Stewart

Photos of Kristen Stewart on the set of Universal Pictures Snow White and the Huntsman have hit the web. The Rupert Sanders-directed film is a dark re-imagining of the classic fairy tale that finds Snow White (Stewart) taking up arms to battle an evil queen (Charlize Theron).

Snow White and the Huntsman costars Chris Hemsworth as the Huntsman, Sam Claflin as the Prince, British fashion model Liberty Ross and Noah Huntley as Snow White’s mother and father, and Robert Pattinson as Sparkly the dwarf.

Kristen-Bauer-van-Straten-Once-Upon-Time

Looks like the producers of ABC’s upcoming fairytale drama “Once Upon a Time” may have finally gotten wind of the notorious Paula Marshall curse. The unlucky star of failed TV shows “Gary Unmarried,” “Hidden Hills,” “Snoops,” “Cupid,” and “Wild Oats” has been replaced by “True Blood’s” Kristen Bauer van Straten in the role of wicked fairy godmother Malificent.

Created by “LOST” executive producers Edward Kitsis and Adam Horowitz, “Once Upon a Time” follows Emma Swan (Jennifer Morrison), daughter of Snow White (Ginnifer Goodwin) and Prince Charming (Josh Dallas), as she’s beckoned to the small New England town of Storybrooke to help free it from an Evil Queen’s (Lana Parilla) curse.

Malificent will be introduced during episode two of the series, set to air on Oct. 30. The character is expected to be a recurring role for van Straten, who is best known for her portrayal of sardonic bloodsucker Pam on the HBO vampire soap “True Blood.”

“Once Upon a Time” premieres on ABC on Oct. 23.

Sierra-Holmes-Scream-Queen

Aspiring actress Sierra Holmes was my favorite contestant on season two of VH1’s “Scream Queens,” reality-competition series. She wasn’t very good, but her determination and endearing goofiness had me rooting for her every week.

Well, now comes news that Holmes has landed a role in Dimension Films’ Piranha 3-DD, the John Gulager-directed sequel to Alexandre Aja’s well-reviewed-but-dead-in-the-water Piranha 3-D. No word on what part she plays, but she’s always had the … ahem … natural talents needed to star in such a film.

Holmes also stars in Redhawk Studios and Sick Flick Productions’ upcoming horror anthology Scream Queen Campfire. The bubbly 24-year-old appears in a vignette entitled “Marshmallows & Blood.” Judging from the teaser below, she’s been honing her craft.

Four killers. One girl.

That’s all I need to know to get my dark little heart racing for Mycho Pictures’ new indie frightener Slasher House. What? There’s also a trailer with a gratuitous nude butt shot of star Eleanor James? Well, now, I’m just gonna have to send those guys a fruit basket for their kindness.

Slasher House follows a girl named Red (James) who awakens to find herself trapped in an abandoned asylum that houses some of the world’s most vicious serial murderers. Written and directed by MJ Dixon, the film costars Adam Williams, Wellington Grosvenor, Andrew M. Greenwood and Alex Grimshaw as the four killers.

Topless_Girl_Reading

Stephen King read a chapter from his upcoming novel “Dr. Sleep,” the eagerly anticipated sequel to his 1977 masterpiece “The Shining,” while accepting the Mason Award at the annual Fall for the Book festival in Fairfax, Virginia.

“Dr. Sleep” follows a grown-up Danny Torrence as he uses his unique powers to help the ill pass away peacefully at the hospice where he works. Trouble arises, however, when a group of psychic vampires called The Tribe swoop into town to feed on people’s energy.
