Danny Trejo Will Return In ‘Machete Kills’

Danny Trejo is a Mexi-can, not a Mexi-can’t. That is why the tatted, 67-year-old genre legend is reprising his role as former Mexican Federale Machete Cortez in Robert Rodriguez’s recently greenlit  sequel Machete Kills.

The film, which shoots in April, follows Machete as he’s recruited by the U.S. government to bring down the Mexican cartel head and the billionaire arms dealer plotting to create global warfare by creating and utilizing a high-tech space weapon.
