Bianca_Lawson_Teen-Wolf

Looks like “Vampire Diaries” and “Secret Circle” alumna Bianca Lawson is barking up a new supernatural tree. The 29-year-old starlet has scored the recurring role of guidance counselor Ms. Morrell on season two of MTV’s hit high school-set werewolf series “Teen Wolf.”

Joining Lawson in the new season are Stephen Lunsford as a student with a crush on Alison, Daniel Sharman as a troubled lacrosse player, Sinqua Walls as a shy loner, Gage Golightly as a tomboy-turned-beauty-queen and Michael Hogan as Alison’s werewolf-hunting grandfather.

Developed by “Criminal Minds” creator Jeff Davis, “Teen Wolf” premiered to over two million viewers last June. Razane-Jammal-Djinn

Lebanese actress Razane Jammal makes her feature film debut in Tobe Hooper’s Abu Dhabi-set supernatural thriller Djinn. The 24-year-old stunner plays an Emirati woman forced to return from America to her country by her husband, who is unaware that the new home that awaits them is built on cursed land.

She tells Rolling Stone:

You know, werewolves and vampires work really well in the West. In the East, it’s more about the djinn – everybody kind of fears them. So I really think that the movie is going to be a success, because it’s a topic that hasn’t really been talked about.

There’s a lot of local talent – it’s a real East meets West – it’s very interesting and it’s a very beautiful mix, and I think it’s going to work everywhere.

Djinn costars the gorgeous Aiysha Hart (in her movie debut), Malik McCall (Dreamcatcher) and Khalid Laith (The Devil’s Double) as Jammal’s husband. The ImageNation-produced film is Hooper’s first directorial effort since 2005’s Mortuary.

Mischa Barton ‘Will Follow You Into the Dark’

Mischa_Barton_Bed

Burgeoning scream queen Mischa Barton (“The O.C.”) is set to star in the supernatural romance I Will Follow You Into the Dark. The pretty 25-year-old Brit will play a woman willing to die to be with the lover who helped her get over the trauma of losing both her parents suddenly.

The Castlight Pictures and Zero Gravity release is written and directed by some guy named Mark Robinson. Costars include the very sexy Leah Pipes (Sorority Row), Ryan Eggold (“90210”) and Jaz Martin (The Shattering).

Barton, who made her horror acting debut as a tween in the 1999 M. Night Shyamalan mind-blower The Sixth Sense, returned to the genre in 2009 with roles in the buried-alive frightener Walled In and the psycho-bitch thriller Homecoming.

She will next be seen in the cave-set survival indie Into the Darkness and Apartment 1303, a 3-D remake of Japanese filmmaker Ataru Oikawa’s creepy J-Horror of the same name.

Katee Sackhoff to Star in Vin Diesel’s ‘Riddick’-ulous Sequel!

Katee-Sackhoff-Riddick

“Battlestar Galactica” starlet Katee Sackhoff has scored the female lead in Vin Diesel’s Riddick, the third entry in the David Twohy directed sci-fi franchise that includes 2000’s Pitch Black and 2004’s The Chronicles of Riddick.

Riddick’s terribly written synopsis reads:

Betrayed by his own kind and left for dead on a desolate planet, Riddick (Diesel) fights for survival against alien predators and becomes more powerful and dangerous than ever before.

Soon bounty hunters from throughout the galaxy descend on Riddick only to find themselves pawns in his greater scheme for revenge.

With his enemies right where he wants them, Riddick unleashes a vicious attack of vengeance before returning to his home planet of Furya to save it from destruction.

Deadline reports that Sackhoff will play Dahl, a Nordic mercenary out to cash in on Riddick’s hide. Also on board for the sequel are greasy-looking, but awesome, career-villain Jordi Molla (Colombiana) as bad guy Santana and Karl Urban (Dredd), reprising his role as Lord Vakko.

Sackhoff’s genre creds include Halloween: Resurrection (her horror movie debut), White Noise 2: The Light, Fox Family’s “The Fearing Mind,” and NBC’s short-lived series “The Bionic Woman.” She is best known, however, for her portrayal of cocky fighter pilot Kara “Starbuck” Thrace on Syfy’s “Battlestar Galactica.”

The 31-year-old starlet will next be seen in TV producer/director Shawn Pillar’s feature debut Sexy Evil Genius and Lionsgate’s The Haunting in Georgia, a sequel to their 2009 sleeper-hit The Haunting in Connecticut. Sackhoff can also be heard as the voice of Mandalorian Bo-Katan on Cartoon Network’s “The Clone Wars.”

Jordan-Ladd-Sexy

Kate Beckinsale Will Cat-Fight Jessica Biel In ‘Total Recall’ Remake!

Kate-Beckinsale-Leggy

Kate Beckinsale has revealed that she and Jessica Biel engage in a no-holds barred cat-fight in director Len Wiseman’s upcoming remake of Paul Verhoeven’s 1990 sci-fi classic Total Recall. The British stunner, who can be seen this month in Screen Gems Underworld: Awakening, plays Lori Quaid.

She tells Collider:

I’m beating everyone up. Fighting with Colin [Farrell], fighting with Jessica [Biel]. The fight with Jessica is going to be great. I like the fact that it’s a proper fight.

It’s not two girls, and one of them, the shoulder is ripped off, and the bra comes out. It’s not like one of those stupid girl fights. It’s a proper fight.

Lori, if you recall, is wife to Doug Quaid, a man who is either a humble factory worker with a memory implant or a wanted super-spy. The part was memorably played in the original film by a then up-and-coming Sharon Stone.

While we all know a “proper fight” between attractive women should involve pillows, mud or Jell-O, Beckinsale’s fight scene with Biel, who plays resistance fighter Melina, sounds promising, especially by the looks of the wardrobe (click here and here).

Total Recall arrives in theaters on Aug. 3.

Katrina-Bowden-Maxim-2012

Horror fans will soon get a chance to see Katrina Bowden’s (“30 Rock”) bedside manner when she stars alongside Paz de la Huerta (“Boardwalk Empire”) in Lionsgate’s upcoming slasher Nurse 3-D. The 23-year-old stunner speaks about the role in the February issue of Maxim magazine.

She spills:

It’s definitely different from what I’ve done. It’s kind of like “Dexter” meets Single White Female. Paz de la Huerta and I are both nurses. But she’s a serial killer and she kind of becomes obsessed with me.

Bowden, who is featured on the magazine’s cover and in a sexy butt-cheek baring pictorial, recently wrapped Lionsgate’s Piranha 3-DD, due out later this year. She can also be seen in the hill-billy horror-comedy Tucker & Dale vs. Evil, now available on DVD and Blu-ray.

Nurse 3-D is directed by Douglas Aarniokoski (The Day) and costars Corbin Bleu (High School Musical), Boris Kodjoe (Resident Evil: Afterlife) and Adam Herschman (Bucky Larson).

‘Teen Wolf’ Starlet Desiree Hall Is Appetizing In ‘Donner Pass’

Desiree-Hall-Redhead

Freestyle Digital Media has set a Jan. 17 home-DVD release date for director Elise Robertson’s cannibal frightener Donner Pass. “Teen Wolf” recurring Desiree Hall stars as part of a group of snowboarding teens consumed by an ancient curse while snowboarding in the Sierra Nevada Mountains.

The film’s official synopsis reads:

DONNER PASS tells the story of settlers in 1846 that became snowbound in the Sierra Nevada Mountains and had to resort to cannibalism to survive.

Some 150 years later, a group of teens on a snowboard trip discover that the curse of the Donner Party still haunts those mountains when members of their group start turning up not only dead, but half-eaten.

Nothing – and no one – is what it seems in this provocative dark thriller. And history doesn’t always stay in the past.

Donner Pass was picked up by Freestyle Digital Media at the American Film Market in November.

Hall is best known for playing Beacon Hills’ sexy school nurse Jennifer on MTV’s new “Teen Wolf” series. The pretty redhead has also guest starred on the TV shows “NCIS: Los Angeles,” “CSI: Miami,” and NBC’s short-lived Jimmy Smits-courtroom drama “Outlaw.” Donner Pass is Hall’s feature film debut.
