Vivica A. Fox is the latest to dive into Sharknado: The Second One, a sequel to Syfy’s social media fueled juggernaut about a shark-hurling twister. She joins returning leads Ian Ziering and Tara Reid, and newcomers Andy Dick, Kelly Osbourne, ex-Sugar Ray singer Mark McGrath, and Judd Hirsch as a Taxi driver!

Sharknado 2: The Second One finds Reid and Ziering out to save New York from a new and bigger sharknado. Fox will play Skye, a high school friend of Ziering’s character. Directed by Anthony Ferrante and written by Thunder Levin, the creative masterminds behind Sharknado, the sequel is slated for release in July.

Not a lot of horror in Fox’s career, but she did star in Roland Emmerich’s epic alien invasion thriller Independence Day as a stripper who rescues the First Lady and keeps hero Will Smith motivated enough to kick the tires and light the fires. The role earned her a spot on Clatto’s list of The Top Ten Babes of Fourth of July Horror.

  1. Well, she WAS in the horror comedy “Idle Hands” with Jessica Alba, playing a demon-slaying priestess who MUST have celebratory sex after each “kill”…
