Saban Films has released a trailer for We Summon the Darkness, a horror-comedy from director Marc Meyers (My Friend Dahmer) and writer Alan Trezza (Burying the Ex). Set in the Midwest, the film follows a group of headbangers tormented by homicidal satanists.

Big-boobed and big-eyed stunner Alexandra Daddario stars as hot chick out to catch a heavy metal concert with her hot friends. They meet three rocker dudes and head to Daddario’s country home to party on. Unfortunately, a cult of devil worshipers cock-block everyone with their murderous deeds.

“Game of Thrones” stunner Natalie Dormer returns to the small screen next month in Showtime’s “Penny Dreadful: City of Angeles,” a spinoff series to its original 19th century London-based horror show now set in 1938 Los Angeles during the Golden Age of Hollywood.

“Penny Dreadful: City of Angeles” centers on a shocking murder and the detectives investigating the case, including Det. Tiago Vega (Daniel Zovatto)—L.A.’s first Mexican detective. In addition, the show will explore politics and history (yawn) and dive into Mexican folklore, notably Santa Muerte (sweeeet).

But, really, none of that matters remotely when you have Dormer playing a hot, shape-shifting demon named Magda, who is hellbent on creating havoc among humanity.

We’re Hooked On Cassie Kramer In ‘Candyman’

Universal Pictures and MGM have released a trailer for producer and co-writer Jordan Peele’s upcoming sequel to 1992’s Candyman, a horrible thriller starring terrible actor Tony Todd as the titular boogeyman who terrorizes residents of a housing project in Chicago.

The good news…the trailer is all kinds of spooky fun. Peele and director Nia DaCosta (Little Woods) clearly have some sweet treats up their sleeves—including the return of original protagonist Helen Lyle, played this time out by Cassie Kramer (pictured above). This brings us to the bad news…Tony Todd is back too. But, whatever, the trailer looks solid.

CBS is serving up Rebecca Breeds (“Pretty Little Liars”) as FBI agent Clarice Starling in its upcoming new series based on the iconic Silence of the Lambs protagonist made famous by Jodie Foster. Written and executive produced by Alex Kurtzman (The Island) and Jenny Lumet (The Mummy), “Clarice” picks up after the events of Lambs and follows Starling as she hunts down violent criminals.

Will Starling continue to look for charming cannibalistic killer Hannibal Lecter, who is seen on the lam in the Bahamas at the end of Silence of the Lambs, after his daring escape from captivity? Or, will this just be “Criminal Minds: Clarice.” What it won’t be is awesome as what Bryan Fuller had in mind for his regrettably cancelled NBC drama “Hannibal.”

Breeds is best known for her recurring roles on Freeform’s teen mystery soap “Pretty Little Liars” and the CW’s “Vampire Diaries” spinoff “The Originals.”
