Academy Award-winning babe Brie Larson (Kong: Skull Island) has been tapped to play the lead in Fail-Safe, a creature feature from director JT Mollner (Strange Darling) and producer J.J. Abrams (“LOST”).

Fail-Safe is told from the perspective of a young boy who discovers his hot mom is a monster. The story is scripted by Brian Duffield, who has penned the underrated genre gems Love and Monsters, Underwater, and The Babysitter.

Larson is best known for playing Captain Marvel in the 2019 film and Avengers: Endgame that same year. Other notable creds include Kong: Skull Island, Scott Pilgrim vs. the World, Fast X, and the abducted milf drama The Room, for which she won Best Actress at the 2015 Academy Awards.
