Israeli Born Actress Shirly Brener Gets ‘Stitch’

Shirly_Brenner_skirt

Good and bad news for horror fans. Sexy Israeli-born actress Shirly Brener has locked the female lead in writer/director Adrian Ajai Mathai’s feature film debut Stitch. Unfortunately, leading man duties have gone to bloated human drug and D-lister Edward Furlong.

The film’s synopsis reads:

A group of 4 friends travel to a seemingly odd location on a retreat in order to mend the loss of a child of one of the couples. During their stay their reality is shattered when their subconscious enters and supernatural elements change their perceptions.

Together with an ongoing eclipse and another dimension where horror occurs, they come to realize that life is teaching them a lesson in trust, responsibility, friendship, family and  forgiveness.

Stitch costars Diane Salinger (Rest Stop), Douglas Tait (Knights of Badassdom) and Tiffany Martin. The film is currently shooting in Los Angeles.

Brener, who was raised in London and Los Angeles, has played small roles in films such as the Jessica Simpson vehicle Employee of the Month, the Lindsay Lohan comedy Labor Pains, and the Al Pacino/Robert De Niro crime-actioner Righteous Kill.

Her horror creds include the serial killer flick 30 Days to Die and The Dunwich Horror opposite Jeffrey Combs (Re-Animator). She also stars alongside Playboy-model-turned-scream-queen Christa Campbell in the yet-to-be-released survival frightener Unraveled.

madeline-zima-breasts

“Californication’s” resident lolita Madeline Zima and indie-darling Brit Marling are set to headline Jamie Babbit’s upcoming homicidal lesbian thriller Breaking the Girl. The duo play girlfriends who joke about killing off each other’s enemies up until one of them actually does.

Babbit, who helmed the underrated, so-fucked-up-it’s-awesome 2005 psych-thriller The Quiet (starring Elisha Cuthbert and Camilla Belle), is directing from a script by American Psycho and BloodRayne screenwriter Guinevere Turner.

Turner describes Breaking the Girl to After Ellen:

It’s like Wild Things if it were set in college. It’s genre-trashy fun; gratuitous girl-on-girl make-out scenes and three-inch heels.

Zima, who broke into Hollywood at the age of six in the 1992 Rebecca De Mornay thriller The Hand That Rocked the Cradle, starred in 2009’s survival-frightener The Collector. She is best known, however, for her roles as sexy teen plagiarist Mia Lewis on Showtime’s “Californication” and Gretchen Berg, Hayden Panettiere’s bisexual roommate, on NBC’s “Heroes.”

Brit Marling will soon be seen in Fox Searchlight’s thoughtful sci-fi drama Another Earth. The film, which revolves around the discovery of a duplicate planet Earth, won the Special Jury Prize at this year’s Sundance Film Festival.

Was Natasha Henstridge Responsible for the Chupacabra Legend?

chupacabra

Benjamin Radford, a leading scientific paranormal investigator, believes he has debunked the legend of  the bloodsucking beast known throughout Central America as the Chupacabra. According to his new book “Tracking the Chupacabra: The Vampire Beast in Fact, Fiction and Folklore (University of New Mexico Press),” the creature originated in the imagination of Puerto Rican movie fan Madelyne Tolentino.

Tolentino claimed in August of 1995 that she saw the Chupacabra (gringo translation: sucks goats) outside her mother’s house in the town of Canovanas at 4 p.m. She described it as being four-to-five-feet-tall, having dark gray eyes that sometimes glowed orange, spikes down its spine, and walking on its hind legs. A sketched rendering of her description eventually went viral and the Chupacabra legend was born.

In his book, however, Radford suggests that the monster Tolentino described is really a re-imagining of the half -human/half-alien SIL creature seen in the 1995 sci-fi classic Species. Tolentino admitted to Radford that she had seen the movie the very same year she spotted the Chupacabra at her mother’s ranch.

Says Radford:

There’s a phenomenon known as confabulation, where people confuse things seen in dreams or movies as happening in real life. It’s a natural, normal thing, and there was a fertile social ground for her story. In early 1990s Puerto Rico, there was a preexisting belief that something weird was attacking animals and draining them of their blood.

Radford, who spent years investigating the Chupacabra, traveling to Puerto Rico and Nicaragua, makes a compelling case against the cryptid, pointing out that DNA samples acquired from suspected Chupacabras revealed them to be dogs and coyotes suffering from the skin disease sarcoptic mange. Tolentino, to this day, sticks by her story.

Who do you believe? I, for one, am only certain about one thing: Species star Natasha Henstridge can chupa my cabra anytime.

Natasha Henstridge to School Some Witches in ‘Secret Circle’

Natasha Henstridge-nude

Actress Natasha Henstridge has joined writer/producer Kevin Williamson’s small-screen adaptation of author L.J. Smith’s witch-themed book series “Secret Circle.” The 36-year-old Canadian starlet will play Dawn Chamberlain, the vice principal of New Salem High School.

“Secret Circle” stars Brittany Robertson (”Life Unexpected”) as a California teen named Cassie who discovers she’s a witch while living with her mother in New Salem. Henstridge’s character is a former friend of Cassie’s mother and knows all about the 300-year-old coven of witches that rule the town.

Williamson, the creative force behind the Scream and I Know What You Did Last Summer films and the TV series “Dawson’s Creek” and “The Vampire Diaries,” is penning the pilot for The CW and will serve as executive producer.

The show costars Shelley Hennig as head witch Diana, Thomas Dekker (Nightmare On Elm Street) as Adam the eldest member of the coven, and Jessica Parker Kennedy (Now), Phoebe Tonkin (Bait 3-D), and Louis Hunter as members of the circle.

Henstridge is best known for her portrayal of naked, tongue-kissing alien SIL in 1995’s Species. She reprised the role in 1998’s Species II and briefly in 2004’s Species III. Not surprisingly, she’s secured a spot on Clatto’s 11 Sexiest Maneater Babes in Horror and Sci-Fi.

Sienna Guillory Preps Her Arse to Play Jill Valentine in ‘Resident Evil 5’

sienna-guillory-resident-evil-afterlife

British stunner Sienna Guillory has confirmed that she will be reprising her role as Jill Valentine in Sony Screen Gems’ fifth installment of the Resident Evil franchise.  Guillory, who cameoed as Jill at the ass-end of Resident Evil: Afterlife, appears to be prepping for a more action-oriented turn this time out.

She tweets:

RE:5 alert! Training begins! I aim to mostly put less in the big hole on the front of my face than comes out of the little one on my arse.

My penis is convinced that this is some kind of sex riddle.

Guillory first played Jill Valentine in 2004’s Resident Evil: Apocalypse, her first lead role in a major American film. Additional creds include New Line Cinema’s fantasy-adventure Inkheart, 20th Century Fox’s dragon-thriller Eragon, indie-frightener Superstitious, and Warner Bros’ adaptation of H.G. Wells’ ‘The Time Machine.

The sexy 36-year-old also stars opposite Antonio Banderas and a very nude Autumn Reeser in director Tony Krantz’s crime-thriller The Big Bang. She plays a missing stripper with a little arse hole.

Playboy Playmate Sara Jean Underwood Fights Crime with Her Breasts!

sara-jean-underwood-bustice

After catching a glimpse of Adrianne Palicki in her new Wonder Woman costume for NBC, I think the network should fire writer/producer David E. Kelly and hire G4’s “Attack of the Show” co-host Sara Jean Underwood to run the show.

The gorgeous 2007 Playboy Playmate of the Year clearly understands how super heroines should look while taking bad guys down, as evident by her crime-fighting altar ego Bustice. Underwood, who turns 27 this week, has shot what will hopefully be the first in a series of Bustice adventures (see below).

And, don’t forget to check out Underwood as a wet Princess Leia in this video.

Now, meet Bustice:

Julianne Moore Is One Bad Mother in ‘Seventh Son’

julianne-moore-half-nude

Julianne Moore is tossing her pointy hat into the ring of actors gathering around director Sergei Bodrov’s Seventh Son. The still sexy 50-year-old actress will play Mother Malkin, an evil witch made powerful through her use of blood magic.

The film’s plot crunch reads:

Tom Ward, a young boy training to be an exorcist in the 1700’s, must learn how to exorcise ghosts, contain witches, and bind boggarts. Trouble begins when he’s tricked into releasing the most evil witch in the world.

The Seventh Son is based on young-adult novelist Joseph Delaney’s “The Wardstone Chronicles,” the first volume in his book series “The Last Apprentice.” Moore is the second actor to be cast in the project. She joins Oscar winner Jeff Bridges, who will be playing exorcist Master Gregory (AKA: The Spook).

Horror fans will also get to see Moore in the Weinstein’s upcoming supernatural thriller Shelter and Killer Film’s vampire frightener Innocence. Her previous genre creds include the cougar/cub lesbian thriller Chloe and the dystopian dramas Blindness and Children of Men.

Elizabeth Hurley Shoots ‘Wonder Woman’ Scene in Skintight Dress!

Elizabeth-Hurley-Wonder-Woman-Set-8

Beautiful Brit Elizabeth Hurley was hard at work in Los Angeles this week shooting a scene for writer/producer David E. Kelly’s new “Wonder Woman” pilot for NBC. The 45-year-old model/actress plays villainess Veronica Cale, a pharmaceutical’s CEO resentful of Diana Prince’s goody-goody agenda.

My knack for the obvious tells me the scene revolves around Cale stepping out of limo to be swarmed by news reporters. My fashionista penis also notes that Hurley’s smoking body is wonderfully showcased in a form-fitting turquoise teal dress complimented by nude platform peep-toe shoes.

“Wonder Woman” stars Adrianne Palicki as the Amazonian demigod-turned-crime-fighter. To see a photo of Palicki in her Wonder Woman costume, go here.

Hurley is best known for her role as secret agent/fembot Vanessa Kensington in Austin Powers: International Man of Mystery and its sequel Austin Powers: The Spy Who Shagged Me. She also played a sexy little devil in the underrated comedy Bedazzled.

Connie-Britton-busty

“Friday Night Lights” star Connie Britton has scored the female lead in producers Ryan Murphy and Brad Falchuk’s new hush-hush TV series  “An American Horror Story.” The busty 44-year-old actress will play Vivien Harmon, the wife of sensitive therapist Ben Harmon.

Murphy will shoot the pilot episode in April. Plot details remain top secret. However, if Murphy’s “Glee” and “Nip/Tuck” programs are any indication, the new show will most likely go gay by season 2 and feature a parade of  guest cameos.

Britton, who is best known for her roles on “Spin City” and “Friday Night Lights,” was last seen on the big screen in Platinum Dunes’ remake of Wes Craven’s A Nightmare On Elm Street. She played Nancy Holbrook’s mom.

‘Choose’ to Watch Katheryn Winnick in New Trailer!

Katheryn_Winnick._Bikinijpg

IFC Midnight has released a trailer for director Marcus Graves’ upcoming slasher Choose. The film stars Canadian actress Katheryn Winnick as an aspiring journalist on the trail of a sadistic serial killer who forces his victims to make horrendous, life-altering choices (think a less moralizing Jigsaw).

Choose costars Kevin Pollak (End of Days), Bruce Dern (Swamp Devil), Talia Balsam (Killer Instinct), and Nicholas Tucci (Undocumented). IFC will release the film in selected theaters on March 18, but you can see it now on demand via Comcast, Cox, Cablevision, Time Warner, Bright House, and iTunes.

Horror fans should recognize Winnick from her turn in director John Simpson’s brutal 2008 frightener Amusement and 2006’s home-video original Hellraiser: Hellworld. The 33-year-old stunner can currently be seen as war correspondent Hannah Burley on the Fox crime drama “Bones.”
