ghostbusters

Sony Pictures has released a first trailer for it’s long gestating Ghostbusters reboot, featuring Kristen Wiig (Bridesmaids), Melissa McCarthy (Spy), Kate McKinnon (“SNL”), and Leslie Jones (Wrongfully Accused) as its new ghost hunters.

While we would have gone with Megan Fox, Margot Robbie, Scarlet Johansson, and McCarthy (what? she’s got a great personality), the trailer looks fun and, honestly, the original Ghostbusters sucked paranormal donkey balls.

brianne-howey-hot

Brianne Howey is the first cast in Fox’s small screen adaptation of William Blatty’s classic 1971 novel “The Exorcist.” Directed by Rupert Wyatt (Rise of the Planet of the Apes) and written by Jeremy Slater (Lazarus Effect), the pilot introduces “two very different men” fighting to save a family from demonic possession.

Howey plays Charlotte, a young ballet dancer whose dreams of making it are shattered after a terrible accident. Her depression and anti social behavior becomes so extreme her mother believes she is possessed by demonic forces.

Howey first caught moviegoers’ attention in the comedy sequel Horrible Bosses 2, but horror fans will recognize her as Melanie Dorkus, the once stunning president of a prestigious sorority burnt to a crisp and forced to resign for her fugliness on Ryan Murphy’s darkly comedic series “Scream Queens.”

‘In Darkness’ w/ Emily Ratajkowski Sounds Fun to Us!

Emily-Ratajkowski-Nude

Busty-model-turned-busty-actress Emily Ratajkowski (Gone Girl) is set to co-star alongside Natalie Dormer (“Game of Thrones”) in director Anthony Byrne’s In Darkness, a psychological revenge thriller co-written by Dormer and Byrne.

In Darkness stars Dormer as a blind musician dragged into London’s seedy underground after hearing a murder take place in the apartment above hers. Ratajkowski plays the troubled daughter of the film’s bad guy and an important figure in Dormer’s quest for justice.

Set Sail with the ‘Fear the Walking Dead’ Trailer!

Kim-Dickens-Fear-Walking-Dead

AMC has released a teaser trailer for season two of its “Walking Dead” prequel series “Fear the Walking Dead,” premiering April 10. The show ended its first season with its Brady Bunch gang reaching the shore and eyeballing ally Victor Strand’s yacht as safe harbor.

The trailer gives us a peek at a zombie apocalypse as it heads to sea and it appears to be anything but enchanting. But here’s hoping there’s enough down time on that boat for Madison (Kim Dickens) and Alicia Clark (Alycia Debnam-Carey) to get in some mother/daughter bikini lounging in.
