‘Purge: Anarchy’ Star Carmen Ejogo Is On Board ‘Alien: Covenant’

Carmen Ejogo co-stars in Ridley Scott’s Alien: Covenant, a sequel to Scott’s sleep-inducing Alien prequel, Prometheus. Ejogo joins Katherine Waterston (Inherent Vice), Demian Bichir (Hateful Eight), Amy Seimetz (You’re Next), Danny McBride (“Eastbound & Down”), and Michael Fassbender, back as David the android.

Alien: Covenant finds the crew of the colony ship Covenant coming upon a planet they believe to be an uncharted paradise only to discover it’s a hostile hellhole inhabited by Prometheus sole survivor David. The film is part two in Scott’s planned trilogy of Alien prequels for 20th Century Fox.

Ejogo is coming off the acclaimed drama Selma, but horror fans will know her from the white-knuckle sequel The Purge: Anarchy and James Patterson adaptation Alex Cross. She also joins Waterson in the J.K. Rowling penned Harry Potter spinoff Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them.
