Anchor Bay Entertainment has announced a limited theatrical run for Studio Canal’s upcoming remake of the 1970 British abduction-thriller And Soon the Darkness. The film will play in selected theaters on Dec. 17 before arriving on DVD and Blu-ray disc on Dec. 28.

The movie marks the directorial debut of commercial director Marcos Efron and stars sexy up-and-comers Amber Heard (Drive Angry) and Odette Yustman (The Unborn) as American girls on a bike-riding excursion in Argentina that goes terribly wrong when one of them is kidnapped.

And Soon the Darkness costars Heard and Odette’s skimpy bikinis, Karl Urban (Dredd), Adriana Barraza (Drag Me to Hell), Michel Noher, and Gia Mantegna.
