‘Dollhouse’ Active Dichen Lachman Will Try ‘Being Human’

Dichen-Lachman-Being-Human

“Dollhouse” star Dichen Lachman has been cast for the second season of the Syfy supernatural series “Being Human.” The 29-year-old Australian-Tibetan looker will play a centuries old royal vampire named Izumi.

“Being Human” centers on a trio of supernatural entities living together in a Boston loft. Every week a misunderstanding makes their landlord, Mr. Furley, believe that they are all having sex. The series stars Meaghan Rath as ghost Sally Malik, Sam Huntington as werewolf Josh Radcliffe, and Sam Witwer as vampire Aidan McCollin.

Lachman, whose Tibetan name translates to “big sin,” is best known for her portrayal of active Sierra on the Joss Whedon-produced sci-fi series “Dollhouse.” Additional creds include the Syfy monster movie Aztec Rex, the vampire thriller Bled, and an upcoming appearance on Starz’ new series “Torchwood: Miracle Day.”

Production on season two of “Being Human” is set to begin soon in Montreal.
