Amber Heard (Drive Angry 3-D) and Odette Yustman (The Unborn) can be seen next month headlining Studio Canal’s sexy new abduction thriller And Soon the Darkness. Images from the film featuring Heard and Yustman in peril (and bikinis) have hit the web (see gallery below).

If you’re one of those weirdos who needs a plot to go along with their Amber Heard/ Odette Yustman movies, the film’s synopsis reads:

Stephanie (Heard) and Ellie’s (Yustman) vacation to an exotic village in Argentina is a perfect “girl’s getaway” to bask in the sun, shop and flirt with the handsome locals.

After a long night of bar-hopping, the girls get into an argument, and Stephanie heads out alone in the morning to cool off. But when she returns, Ellie has disappeared. Finding signs of a struggle, Stephanie fears the worst, and turns to the police for help. But the local authorities have their hands full already – with a string of unsolved kidnappings targeting young female tourists.

Skeptical of the sherifs competency, she enlists help from Michael (Karl Urban), an American ex-pat staying at their hotel. Together they go on a frantic search for Ellie, but Stephanie soon realizes that trusting his seemingly good intentions may drag her farther from the truth. With danger mounting, and time running out, Stephanie must find her friend before darkness falls.

And Soon the Darkness is Studio Canal’s remake of the 1970 British abduction-thriller starring old-school scream queen Pamela Franklin (The Food of the Gods, Satan’s School for Girls). The film is directed by newbie Marcos Efron and costars Karl Urban (Dredd), Adriana Barraza (Drag Me to Hell), Michel Noher, and Gia Mantegna.

Heard and Yustman are both featured on Clatto’s list of The 20 Hottest Women Working in Horror/Sci-fi.

And Soon the Darkness will fall in theaters on Dec. 17.

Here you see writer/director Kevin Smith’s new Red State character one sheet showcasing up-and-comer Kerry Bishe as “The Virgin.” Fans of the long-running sitcom “Scrubs” may recognize Bishe as med student Lucy Bennett from the show’s hilarious, but barely watched 9th and final season.

Red State is the Fred “God Hates Fags” Phelps-inspired horror project Smith has been trying to get made since 2007. Along with Bishe, the film costars John Goodman, Melissa Leo, Kevin Pollak, Anna Gunn, Stephen Root, Michael Parks, Michael Angarano, Kyle Gallner, and Nicholas Braun.

Red State has been accepted into next year’s Sundance Film Festival. Now, check out some stills why don’tcha:

CBS Films is hoping to remind your Twitter-happy, ADD-afflicted kids about its long-delayed “Beauty and the Beast” update Beastly with a new trailer and photos. The film stars British newcomer Alex Pettyfer as a handsome high schooler who, after being cursed to look like R&B artist Seal, nonetheless finds his way into Vanessa Hudgens pants heart.

The official synopsis reads:

Kyle Kingson (Pettyfer) has it all — looks, intelligence, wealth and opportunity — and a wicked cruel streak. Prone to mocking and humiliating “aggressively unattractive” classmates, he zeroes in on Goth classmate Kendra, inviting her to the school’s extravagant environmental bash. Kendra accepts, and, true to form, Kyle blows her off in a particularly savage fashion.

She retaliates by casting a spell that physically transforms him into everything he despises. Enraged by his horrible and unrecognizable appearance he confronts Kendra and learns that the only solution to the curse is to find someone that will love him as he is — a task he considers impossible.

Repulsed by his appearance, Kyle s callous father banishes him to Brooklyn with a sympathetic housekeeper (Lisa Gay Hamilton) and blind tutor (Neil Patrick Harris). As Kyle ponders how to overcome the curse and get his old life back, he chances upon a drug addict in the act of killing a threatening dealer.

Seizing the opportunity, Kyle promises the addict freedom and safety for his daughter Lindy (Hudgens) if she will consent to live in Kyle’s Brooklyn home. Thus begins Kyle’s journey to discover true love in this hyper-modern retelling of the classic ‘Beauty and the Beast’ story.

Beastly is directed by Daniel Barnz (Phoebe in Wonderland) and is based on the novel of the same name by author Alex Flinn. Costars include Neil Patrick Harris, May-Kate Olson, Peter Krause, Lisa Gay Hamilton, and Dakota Johnson (daughter to Don Johnson & Melanie Griffith).

The film, which was originally slated for release in July of 2010, is now set to hit theaters in March 2011.

It’s been a long time since we’ve seen former “NYPD Blue” starlet Charlotte Ross, but that’s about to change big time. A very reliable source tells Clatto that the still insanely hot 42-year-old actress goes nude in Summit Entertainment’s upcoming supernatural road-rage thriller Drive Angry 3-D.

Ross plays a waitress turned on by Nicolas Cage’s devil-may-care demeanor. The two engage in what can only be described as a graphic sex scene (breasts, butt, pubis area) during an outrageously inopportune moment (sorry, no spoilers here).

I’m also told the actual movie kicks serious ass and is a must-see for fans of over-the-top violence and spectacle.

Ross rose to fame during her stint as Detective Connie McDowell on ABC’s crime-drama procedural “NYPD Blue.” A 2003 episode entitled “Nude Awakenings,” catapulted Ross to sex symbol status by featuring her gorgeous nude ass and side-boobage in a controversial opening shower sequence that found her getting walked in on by a very young boy.

The network was fined $1.4 million by the FCC (see the scene here).

Directed by Patrick Lussier (My Bloody Valentine 3-D), Drive Angry 3-D stars Cage as a damned soul who escapes hell to run down the pricks that murdered his daughter and abducted his grandchild. Costars include Amber Heard (And Then the Darkness), Billy Burke (Twilight Saga), David Morse (Disturbia), and Playboy model Christa Campbell (2001 Maniacs: Field of Screams).
