Is Kate Hudson an ‘Unforgettable’ Psycho?

kate-hudson-sexy

After mailing it in for years in countless romantic comedies, Kate Hudson is taking a turn at the thriller genre with Unforgettable, a psycho-bitch drama about a newly wed couple tormented by the husband’s troubled and enraged ex-wife.

Unforgettable is directed by Amma Asante, whose critical acclaim for the period piece Belle may have lured Hudson—and co-star Kerry Washington—to the strained jealous ex thriller that has given us an Obsessed and The Roommate for every Fatal Attraction and Single White Female.

There is no word on whether Hudson will play the wife or the psycho, but here’s hoping she’ll be cast against type. Despite being known for rom-coms such as How to Lose a Guy in 10 Days and Fool’s Gold, Hudson did shine in Michael Winterbottom’s brutally violent and controversial film adaptation of the Jim Thompson’s 1952 novel The Killer Inside Me.

Cara Delevinge

Warner Bros. has announced its cast for David Ayer’s Suicide Squad: Jared Leto as Joker, Will Smith as Deadshot, Tom Hardy as Rick Flag, Jai Courtney as Captain Boomerang, model-turned-actress Cara Delevinge as Enchantress, and Wolf of Wall Street stunner Margot Robbie as Harley Quinn.

Warner Bros. executive Ben Silverman said:

The Warner Bros. roots are deep on this one. David Ayer returns to the studio where he wrote Training Day and brings his incredible ability to craft multidimensional villains to this iconic DC property with a cast of longtime Warner collaborators Will Smith and Tom Hardy, and other new and returning favorites: Margot, Jared, Jai and Cara. We look forward to seeing this terrific ensemble, under Ayer’s amazing guidance, give new meaning to what it means to be a villain and what it means to be a hero.

With the exception of Joker and Harley Quinn, we’ve never heard of these Suicide Squad characters. Chances are the movie will be a bloated affair just like the majority of all superhero movies. But, it does have some interesting factors, namely Leto taking on Joker after Heath Ledger’s incomparable turn and Robbie as his sexy sidekick Harley Quinn—can’t wait to see the costume on her!

We’re also excited to see Delevinge (pictured) as Enchantress. The 22-year-old British fashion model made her acting debut for Joe Wright (Hanna) in Anna Karenina and will also be seen in the director’s re-imagining of the classic Peter Pan tale, Pan.
