Former “Buffy the Vampire Slayer” star Nicholas Brendon has been charged with four misdemeanors after attempting to fight off cops during an alcohol-fueled night of disorderly conduct in Venice, California last month (click here for that story).
The charges include vandalism, resisting arrest, and two counts of battery against a police officer. He faces up to two years in jail and $4,000 in fines if convicted.
Unlike Sarah Michelle Gellar (The Grudge) and Eliza Dushku (“Dollhouse”), both of whom continue to work despite a string of failed projects, Brendon’s lack of breasts and vaginal talents have doomed him to a soul-killing career in such straight-to-DVD crap as Blood on the Highway, available June 29.
Take a look:
Maybe this flick could be used in Brendon’s defense. It’s easy to see why he would want to break something after starring in it. I’m sure, if he had a home, he would have broken his own stuff.
Brendon played lovable dork Xander on “Buffythe Vampire Slayer” from 1997 to 2003.
Unlike Audrina Patridge and Mischa Barton, both of whom have starred in recent horror flicks, “Hills” star Heidi Montag has yet to earn her keep on this blog. However, there are two big reasons why I will continue to post about her: she’s writing a script about a killer shark and she’s campaigning to be the new Lara Croft in the upcoming Tomb Raider reboot.
Oh, and she has huge tits too.
(UPDATE: To see Heidi use her big guns in a Transformers 3 audition video, click here)
So, now that we’ve established that my penis writes this site, let’s take a look at photos of Montag at the opening of Hotel Aira’s Liquid pool this past Saturday in Las Vegas.
Mischa Barton (“The O.C.”) plays the part of psycho-bitch in director Morgan J. Freeman’s straight-to-DVD thriller Homecoming, available April 20 from Paramount Home Entertainment.
The DVD hit Canada back in March so clips from the flick have hit the web, three of which I am posting here for your viewing pleasure. The first finds Barton strutting around in bra and panties before heading out to score some bathroom sex.
Check it out:
OK, to better understand what’s going on, I give you the film’s synopsis:
Mike (Matt Long) was the star quarterback in a small town where football is everything. After receiving a scholarship to Northwestern University, he returns home over Christmas break and everyone is surprised to see him with a new girlfriend, Elizabeth (Jessica Stroupe), a pretty rich girl from Chicago.
No one is more shocked than Mike’s homecoming queen ex-girlfriend Shelly (Barton), who desperately wants Elizabeth out of the picture. After a freak accident leaves Elizabeth at the mercy of Shelby, all hell breaks loose as Shelby does everything it takes to get Mike back.
The following clip is very Misery.
Take a look:
Horror fans may recognize Jessica Stroupe from 2008’s Prom Night remake. The 23-year-old stunner has also starred in The Hills Have Eyes 2, Left in Darkness, Pray for Morning, and Vampire Bats.
Melissa George is set to headline director Julian Gilbey’s cat-and-mouse survival flick A Lonely Place to Die (formerly entitled The Grave at Angel’s Peak). The Australian actress is one of those hot—but unknown—babes you always wait to see identified during the end credits of a movie.
Unfortunately, if you’re like me, by the time you get home to look her up on IMDB … you’ve forgotten her name and will never get a chance to masturbate to enjoy her previous work.
But, don’t worry, I’m here to help.
George can be seen (often in the buff) in plenty of horror flicks, including Triangle, David Slade’s 30 Days of Night, the highly underrated Turistas, 2005’s The Amityville Horror remake, and the 1998 cult classic Dark City.
A Lonely Place to Die finds George and her friends attempting to rescue a young Serbian girl from capture during what was supposed to be a fun mountain-hiking trip in the Scottish Highlands. Along with dodging the girl’s kidnappers, George and crew must also face off against mercenaries paid by the girl’s father to find her and kill anyone who gets in their way.
Those of you who watch movies with your hands down your pants have never had anything nice to say about actress Hilary Swank’s looks. Regardless, I find the two-time Oscar winner to be kinda sexy when she lets her hair down for a role.
Sure, she’s a bit toothy. Oddly enough, I always thought Bugs Bunny looked kinda cute when in drag so it sort of works out good for me. But, hey, check Swank out for yourself in this leaked trailer for Hammer Films’ upcoming thrillerThe Resident:
The Resident stars Swank as Dr. Juliet Dermer, a tenant who suspects her landlord is stalking her. Watchman’s Jeffrey Dean plays the creepy super.
The film is the first of many projects being developed by Hammer Films as part of their return to producing high-profile horror. The old-school studio is also producing a remake of the 2008 Swedish vampire flick Let the Right One In with Overture Films.
Hammer was founded in 1934 and is home to such classic titles as The Curse of Frankenstein (1957), Dracula (1958), and To the Devil a Daughter (1976).
In a display of casting genius, Studio Canal has tapped up-and-coming horror queen Amber Heard (Drive Angry, Zombieland) and the stoopidly hot Odette Yustman (The Unborn, Cloverfield) to headline their remake of the 1970 British surival-horror flick And Soon the Darkness.
Set and shot in Argentina, Darkness follows two American girls on a bike-riding excursion that goes terribly wrong when one of them is abducted.
The film’s synopsis reads:
Ellie and Stephanie break away from their boring tour group in pursuit of breathtaking scenery, adventure and fun of Argentina.
They reach the once-prosperous town of Alemana, where beneath the sumptuous landscape lies a dark secret. Despite rumours of local girls recently going missing, the pair head for a noisy bar to celebrate their last night and help give Ellie closure from her recent break-up. The next day the two girls fight and Ellie disappears. Stephanie follows a trail of sinister clues in an attempt to find her friend but who can she trust to help her, and moreover who must she fear when time is running out and soon the darkness will fall.
Studio Canal’s approach to the project is proving to be quite inspired, as demonstrated by the following promo pic showcasing Heard and Yustman in bikinis.
And Soon the Darkness is commercial director Marcos Efron feature film debut. Amber Heard serves as co-producer.
Model and sometime actress Adrianne Curry is just begging for a football to the nose from her uptight hubby Christopher Knight (aka: Peter Brady).
A month after posting photos of herself cooking in a thong on Twitter, Curry is once again showing off her stunning bod in a series of shots that find her lying half-naked in bed and in Clockwork Orange and Fifth Element garb.
Curry is best known for being “America’s Next Top Model’s” first winner and playing World of Warcraft nude. She also starred in the 2006 horror flick Fallen Angels.
Harrison Ford has signed on to star in director Jon Favreau’s (Iron Man) adaptation of Scott Mitchell Rosenberg’s graphic novel Cowboys & Aliens.
Favreau tweeted the news today:
Please stop asking if Harrison Ford is in Cowboys & Aliens. Okay? He is. Please don’t tell anybody.
Set in the mid 19th century, Cowboys & Aliens follows gunslinger Zeke Jackson (Daniel Craig) and Ella Verity (Olivia Wilde) as they set out to stop an alien race from enslaving humankind.
“LOST” co-creator Damon Lindelof wrote the script with his go-to collaborators Alex Kurtzman and Roberto Orci. Steven Spielberg, Ron Howard and Brian Grazer serve as producers.
Cowboys & Aliens goes into production in July. No word on what part Ford will play in the film.
Glamor model Danielle Lloyd goes from beauty-queen to scream-queen in director Alexander Williams’ straight-to-DVD slasher Cut. The film marks Lloyd’s feature film debut.
Unfortunately for those of us with penises, the 26-year-old stunner is killed off within the first five minutes of the film. Yes, that was a spoiler. Here’s another: Don’t expect to see the busty Brit topless.
Williams inexplicably fails to make Cut a much deserved showcase for Lloyd’s jaw-dropping 32-E’s and, instead, focuses his energy on a boring shot-in-one-continuous-take gimmick.
The movie’s plot revolves around five friends trapped in a cottage by evil clowns lurking in the woods (WTF?). The film costars Gremlins’ Zach Galligan, Michael Socha, Eden Watson, River George, and Laurie Brewster.
Lloyd is a former Miss England and Miss Great Britain. She lost the latter title in 2006 after posing nude for Playboy.
The following year she appeared in Britain’s “Celebrity Big Brother” program and was criticized for making funny-as-fuck racially insensitive cracks about Indian and Chinese people. The controversy cost her a handful of lucrative modeling contracts, including campaigns with urban-fashion house Rocawear.
Today, Lloyd is a fixture in British “lad” mags and continues to bring happiness and wonder to fans of big tatas. Cut is available now.
Summit Entertainment’s road-rage actioner Drive Angry 3-D won’t roll into theaters until early next year, but star Nicolas Cage was already revving up interest for the film at last weekend’s Wondercon convention in San Francisco.
Cage crowed about the film’s authentic 3-D (no conversion in post), its retro ultra-violent vibe, and hinted at a paranormal plot twist that up until now had remained a secret.
What’s really cool is that the 3-D is from scratch — all the cameras are 3-D. It’s not going to be tacked onto the movie afterwards. Patrick [Lussier], the director, is very excited about it.
It’s the first one [like this]; it’s like if you got to see an old ’70s action movie, but in 3-D. We’re doing something semi-historical, because it’s the first 3-D movie shot [in the] style of a ’70s action film. You could see Charles Bronson or Eastwood [starring in a film like this] in those days.
There’s a supernatural element to it as well, which is keeping with what my interests are right now. When I play supernatural characters in ‘Ghost Rider’ or ‘The Sorcerer’s Apprentice’ or ‘City of Angels’ or ‘Next’ or even ‘Drive Angry,’ the possibilities are limitless. The possibilities are endless, you can do so much with that.
Like pay back-taxes to the IRS.
Directed by Patrick Lussier (My Bloody Valentine 3-D), Drive Angry follows a man (Cage) on a quest to run down the pricks that murdered his daughter and abducted his grandchild. Producer Mike De Luca (Priest, GhostRider) promises the film will be rated a hard R and include plenty of “car parts and body parts flying at you in 3-D.”
Some of those body parts will hopefully belong to sexy costars Amber Heard (Zombieland), Charlotte Ross (“NYPD Blue”), and busty Playboy model Christa Campbell (Day of the Dead).
Drive Angry 3-D pulls into theaters on Feb. 11, 2011.
