Warner Bros. has released a new two-minute trailer for its upcoming supernatural-western Jonah Hex. The clip features explosions, fights, and Megan Fox as sweaty prostitute Leila.

Take a look (courtesy of IGN):

Jonah Hex has been plagued with production problems since it was announced, including the departure of original directors Mark Neveldine and Brian Taylor (Crank), bad-mouthing from star Josh Brolin (he thought the script was crap), and reshoots (with a new director).

I can’t help but wonder if Brian Austin Green is already blowing Michael Bay to get Megan Fox cast in Transformers 4.

Jonah Hex arrives in theaters on June 18.

Though shot in India, Hisss marks the 33-year-old stunner’s American feature debut. It’s no surprise she has really taken to promoting the film.  To see her charming snakes of all sizes during a photo call at the 63rd annual Cannes Film Festival, click here.

‘Martyrs’ Remake to be Written by ‘Vacancy’ Scribe!

martyrs_chick

Mark L. Smith, the screenwriter behind director Nimrod Antal’s underrated survival-frightener Vacancy, has written the latest draft to the upcoming American remake of the French film Martyrs.

Released in 2008 to critical acclaim, Martyrs centers on Anna, (Morjana Alaoui), a still-traumatized child abuse survivor abducted by a secret society convinced they can reach God by beating the living shit out of her for about an hour of the film’s duration.

It’ll be interesting to see if the remake remains as brutally violent as the original, which ends with Alaoui’s character flayed alive.

Personally, I had never seen such over-the-top, man-on-woman violence since I left home for college. If you think Jessica Alba taking a few rabbit punches to the face in director Michael Winterbottom’s The Killer Inside Me is sick, watch Martyrs … you can make a drinking game out of it!

A Twisted Trailer for Eli Roth’s ‘The Last Exorcism’ !

last-exorcism-poster

Lionsgate has released the first official trailer for its Eli Roth produced supernatural-thriller The Last Exorcism, originally titled Cotton. Directed by Daniel Stamm (A Necessary Death), the film employs shaky-cam techniques to capture an evangelical minister’s last exorcism in documentary fashion (think Paranormal Activity meets The Exorcist).

The film’s synopsis reads:

When he arrives on the rural Louisiana farm of Louis Sweetzer, the Reverend Cotton Marcus expects to perform just another routine “exorcism” on a disturbed religious fanatic.

An earnest fundamentalist, Sweetzer has contacted the charismatic preacher as a last resort, certain his teenage daughter Nell is possessed by a demon who must be exorcized before their terrifying ordeal ends in unimaginable tragedy.

Buckling under the weight of his conscience after years of parting desperate believers with their money, Cotton and his crew plan to film a confessionary documentary of this, his last exorcism. But upon arriving at the already blood drenched family farm, it is soon clear that nothing could have prepared him for the true evil he encounters there.

Now, too late to turn back, Reverend Marcus’ own beliefs are shaken to the core when he and his crew must find a way to save Nell – and themselves – before it is too late.

The Last Exorcism stars Ashley Bell, Patrick Fabian (Pig), Iris Bahr (The Poughkeepsie Tapes), Jamie Alyson Caudle (Jonah Hex), Louis Herthum (Mutants), and Tony Bentley (The Bad Lieutenant: Port of Call New Orleans)

It arrives in theaters on Aug. 27.

Meet Delphine Chanéac: The Hot Hybrid Creature in ‘Splice’

delphine

Cube director Vincenzo Natali’s long-delayed sci-fi frightener Splice arrives in theaters on June 4. If you’ve felt inexplicably attracted to the film’s Sinead O’Conner-meets-Sil-from-Species creature, it’s for good reason.

Beautiful 31-year-old French actress Delphine Chanéac plays Dren, a hybrid female successfully spliced from human and animal DNA. Chanéac spoke about the role during a press junket for the film.

Check it out:

Chanéac discusses the shock of seeing herself as the Dren creature, working out for the part (she goes nude), discovering she was the only monster in the movie, her costars, and learning English. She also comments on the thrill of making her U.S. feature film debut.

Splice stars Adrien Brody and Sarah Polley as the ambitious, albeit ethically-compromised, geneticists in over their heads after creating Dren. To see the film’s trailers, go here and here.

Kill Dr. Heiter’s Ass-to-Mouth Beast in ‘Human Centipede: The Game’

HC3

If you’re getting antsy waiting for the sequel to IFC’s mad-scientist thriller The Human Centipede, you may want to kill some time with NewGround.com’s Human Centipede: The Game.

A modified version of Atari’s classic Centipede arcade game, Human Centipede: The Game puts you in Dr. Heiter’s scrubs as he faces off against a his own creation.

The game breakdown reads:

You are Dr. Heiter, a brilliant German surgeon who has gone mad and surgically attached people ass-to-mouth to create the Human Centipede. Unfortunately, your patients are not pleased with being human centipedes and have begun to rebel against you.

Now you must take your trusty rifle and put down these human centipedes like the bad dogs they are. Don’t forget to watch out for the police and collect glasses of water with roofies to slow down the centipedes!

This Centipede game parody is based on the heartwarming, feel good movie of the year for the whole family to enjoy – Human Centipede. We’ve just added a variety of medals to it, including a few secret ones you’ll surely be able to unlock if you make it far enough in the game. Also included is a high scores list for those of you who are skilled enough to gun down plenty o’ those pesky human centipedes to make it into the top ten.

Directed by Dutch filmmaker Tom Six, The Human Centipede stars newbie actresses Ashlynn Yennie and Ashley C. Williams, Japanese actor Akihiro Kitamura, and Germany’s Dieter Laser as the deranged Dr. Heiter.

Riley_Keough

Lisa Marie Presley’s fashion model daughter Riley Keough is set to replace plain-jane Olivia Thirlby in director Bradley Rust Gray’s outrageous teen-lesbo/werewolf mash-up Jack & Diane. Juno Temple, the cute blonde from Year One, costars.

Keough will now play Jack, a harden New York City dyke determined to keep her latest out-of-town conquest Diane (Temple) from leaving. What Jack doesn’t know is that Diane’s lesbian-awakening has unleashed her animalistic nature (she’s a werewolf).

Jack & Diane has been in development hell for over four years. The film was scheduled to begin shooting in New York City this month before Keough’s casting was announced.

LOST_vanityfair

ABC’s groundbreaking Emmy award-winning sci-fi series “LOST” comes to an end tonight with a two-and-a-half-hour finale that promises to either provide fans with closure or enrage them to the point of lunacy.

The finale is preceded by a two-hour commemorative special entitle  “The Final Journey,” in which the cast flashes back on the show’s run. Jimmy Kimmel Live will cap the night off with a cast reunion show (check your local listings for times).

Miss Muertos and I have already killed the phone lines and ordered up a bucket of Mr. Cluck’s for tonight’s bittersweet event.

While we wait for “The End,” I suggest checking out The New York Times interview clips with show runners Damon Lindelof and Carlton Cuse and stars Michael Emerson and Jorge Garcia.

mujeres3

Anyone who has ever landed on Univision or Telemundo while flipping channels knows that the female talent on Spanish-speaking networks are always top-heavy and gorgeous. In fact, actresses and news anchors are often removed from the airwaves and put on a deserted island to die when they turn 35 or balloon up to 118lbs (whichever comes first).

That commitment to excellence can make any man sit through hours of melodramatic novellas and alarmist news programming. But, every now-and-then, a program comes along that actually combines quality story-telling with high production values and large-breasted, nearly-nude starlets. “Mujeres Asesinas” (which translates to “Murderous Women” for you gringos) is one such show.

“Mujeres Asesinas” is Mexican producer Pedro Torres procedural about bloodthirsty, homicidal women. Each episode revolves around a murder committed by a woman—or group of women—over feelings of scorn, jealousy, greed, fear, and/or pure evil. The show is currently on its second season and stars some of Latin America’s most beautiful women.

The first episode I saw, entitled “Las Garrido, Codiciosas” (“The Covetous Garridos”), follows a trio of sisters determined to win the deed to a house owned by the eldest sister’s abusive, gamble-holic husband.

The girls (Patricia Navidad, Galilea Montijo, Ana Brenda) engage the old man in a sex-fueled game that finds him signing over the contract in exchange for simultaneous blow-jobs from his wife’s sisters. Upset over being played so easily, he demands an opportunity to win back his loss via Russian roulette.

Aye Caramba: Galilea Montijo

“Mujeres Asesinas” matches any crime-drama on American TV in style and thrills. Think of it as “Desperate Housewives” meets “CSI,” but with a much hotter cast that changes from week-to-week.

“Mujeres Asesinas 2” airs on Univison on Thursdays at 10 p.m.

Dear ‘Vampire Diaries’: Nina Dobrev Wore a Bikini This Week!

40806CHP_Dobrev

Dear Diary,

It’s Eddie again. I just came across some new photos of “Vampire Diaries” star Nina Dobrev in a bikini. Apparently, she was taking a holiday at the Gansevoort Turks + Caicos resort on Grace Bay and decided to go for a dip.

Now, my brain tells me I should appreciate every actress that sports a bikini, but my penis isn’t so sure. Dobrev is cute, but is she Kleenex-worthy? She kinda just looks like the girl-next-door, which is especially awkward for me because the girl living next door to me is my sister. But, I digress.

The question is: Can you really fantasize about the girl-next-door? I mean, with enough booze, some rope, and a sturdy alibi, anyone can nail the girl-next-door. I think Hollywood starlets should go the extra mile and make their bodies perfect. If Heidi Montag can do it, Dobrev should too.

“The Vampire Diaries” is writer-producer Kevin Williamson’s (Scream, “Dawson’s Creek”) adaptation of L.J. Smith’s popular novel series of the same name for the CW television network. The show follows high-schooler Elena Gilbert (Dobrev) as she’s courted by two vampire brothers.

The show airs at 8 p.m. on Thursdays.
