Rose McGowan Catches the Eye of ‘Jeepers Creepers’ Director

Rose-Mcgowan-nude

Jeepers Creepers director and convicted child molester Victor Salva has cast 37-year-old stunner Rose McGowan as the lead for his first film in five years Rosewood Lane. McGowen will play a TV talk show shrink who upon moving back home finds herself pitted against the paperboy who terrorized her father up until his death.

Explains Salva:

Rosewood Lane has been a pet project of mine for years now and what I have always regarded as one of my most terrifying stories. To see it finally come to life is wonderful.

Hmm. I’m sure the kid whose head Salva fuck-started has got some bone-chilling tales of his own. Considering the director’s past, will you support this flick?

Rosewood Lane was shot in Los Angeles and is now wrapped. Stills from the film have been released and are posted below for your viewing pleasure.

rosamund-pike-wrath-titans

Former Bond girl Rosamund Pike will release the Kraken in your pants next year when she stars in Warner Bros. and Legendary Pictures’ Wrath of the Titans, a sequel to their blockbuster remake of the 1981 fantasy adventurer Clash of the Titans.

Pike inherits the role of Princess Andromeda from Alexa Davalos (The Mist), who reportedly will be busy washing her hair while the sequel is shot. In Greek mythology, Andromeda goes on to marry Perseus, the son of Zeus, after he rescues her from Poseidon’s sea monster.

Pike first broke in the States as femme fatale Miranda Frost in the James Bond film Die Another Day. She’s since starred in numerous indies that you’d see with your aunt … because she gives you money for Dibs ice cream balls. The 32-year-old Brit’s only genre creds are Universal Pictures’ Doom adaptation and Jonathan Mostow’s sci-fi actioner Surrogates.

Wrath of the Titans is directed by Jonathan Liebesman (Battle: Los Angeles) and sees original players Sam Worthington (Perseus), Liam Neeson (Zeus), and Gemma Arterton (Io) reprising their roles. The film is slated for release on March 30, 2012.

Will Famke Janssen Eat Gemma Arterton in ‘Hansel & Gretel: Witch Hunters’?

Famke-Janssen-witch

Sexy Dutch actress Famke Janssen will star opposite Gemma Arterton and Jeremy Renner in Dead Snow director Tommy Wirkola’s Hansel & Gretel: Witch Hunters, a flash forward of the classic fairy tale that finds the siblings hunting down supernatural forces for profit.

Janssen, who made her horror film debut in the 1995 Clive Barker frightener Lord of Illusions and starred as Dr. Jean Grey (AKA: Phoenix) in the X-Men franchise, will reportedly play the leader of an evil coven of witches.

The now 46-year-old former model’s additional horror creds include such notable outings as Don’t Say a Word, The House on Haunted Hill, Hide and Seek, Stephen Sommers’ Deep Rising, and Robert Rodriguez’s The Faculty.

Hansel & Gretel: Witch Hunters is set to roll camera on March 7. Paramount Pictures will release the film in June of next year.

Dina Meyer Has Got a ‘Fatal Secret’ to Tell!

dina_meyer

Actress Dina Meyer may be done chasing Jigsaw in Lionsgate’s record-breaking Saw franchise, but the 42-year-old hottie is still playing games in Magnafilms’ psychological thriller Fatal Secrets, available on DVD and On-Demand March 29. The film costars Lela Rochon, Ghostbuster Ernie Hudson, and Marty McFly’s mom Lea Thompson.

The synopsis reads:

An attractive woman (Meyer) enlists the help of her two best friends to confront a charming man with a secret background who has pushed her to the breaking point. The women underestimate the consequences when they take matters into their own hands as their opponent forces them into a desperate situation, and everyone pays a price.

Meyer, best known for her portrayal of Det. Allison Kerry in Saw 1-4, holds numerous genre creds under her garter belt, including memorable turns in Piranha 3-D, Star Trek: Nemesis, Starship Troopers, DragonHeart, and Johnny Mnemonic.

Fatal Secrets marks the directorial debut of Meir Sharony and is written by producer-turned-writer Kathy Cotter. The film was originally shot in 2009, but looks like a really bad ’80s crime drama. Still, I’d watch Meyer take a dump … a slow sexy dump.

Jaime-Murry-Nude-Spartacus

It’ saddens the cock to know that the Sam Raimi-produced gladiator soap “Spartacus: Gods of the Arena” has already reached its midpoint. The six-part prequel series to Starz’ runaway hit “Spartacus: Blood and Sand” has provided the stylized gore, raunchy sleaze, and quotable vulgarities (“Words fall from your mouth like shit from ass”) that “Spartacus” fans have come to love.

Of course, the drama is pretty damn good too. Last week’s episode “Paterfamilias” introduced Batiatus’ (John Hannah) sour-pus father Titus (Jeffrey Thomas), played up gladiator champ Gannicus’ (Dustin Clare) guilt over bedding Oenomaus’ (Peter Mensah) wife Melitta (Marissa Ramirez), and saw Crixus (Manu Bennett) earn the mark of the brotherhood by slaughtering Barca’s (Antonio Te Maioha) butt-buddy in the arena.

Jessica-Grace-Smith-nude-Spartacus

But, the show’s most compelling reveal came early when socialite Gaia (Jaime Murray) stripped off her gown to pour wine down her breasts and onto her bush during a three-way romp with Batiatus and Lucretia (Lucy Lawless). Hot as it was, slave girl Diona (Jessica Grace Smith) scored the episode’s most scandalous fuck scene: a simultaneous deflowering of ass and vajayjay via double penetration.

“Spartacus: Gods of the Arena” follows Batiatus and his wife Lucretia as they strive for power and influence over the city of Capua. The show debuted to 1.9 million viewers on Jan 21.

Diora Baird’s Breasts Will Force Italian Men to Read!

Diora-Baird-GQ-Italy-Leggy

Horror fans first caught a glimpse of Miami-born model-turned-actress Diora Baird’s natural talents in Platinum Dunes’ underrated 2006 prequel The Texas Chainsaw Massacre: The Beginning. Since then, the 27-year-old stunner has made must-sees out of 2009’s dreadful horror-comedy Stan Helsing and last year’s DVD originals 30 Days of Night: Dark Days and Night of the Demons.

Baird will next be seen in After Dark Films’ violent bank-heist thriller Transit opposite LOST’s Harold Perrineau and “True Blood’s” James Frain. In the meantime, however, her revealing photos in the February issue of GQ Italy reminds us why she’s one of Clatto’s 20 Hottest Women Women Working in Horror/Sci-fi Today.

Maggie Grace is a Riot in Luc Besson’s Sci-fi Prison Thriller ‘Lockout’

Maggie_Grace_Lockout_Star

“LOST” alum Maggie Grace is set to star opposite Guy Pearce (Don’t Be Afraid of the Dark) in producer Luc Besson’s sci-fi actioner Lockout. Directed by James Mather, the film follows a convicted U.S. government agent’s (Pearce) attempt to rescue the president’s daughter (Grace) from a space prison riot in exchange for his freedom.

Grace, best known for her portrayal of spoiled rich girl Shannon Rutherford on ABC’s sci-fi drama “LOST,” made her (major) horror film debut in Columbia Pictures’ 2005 remake of John Carpenter’s The Fog. Memorable roles in 2009’s Malice in Wonderland, a clever retelling of the “Alice in Wonderland” fable, and the 2008 abduction-thriller Taken followed.

The Ohio born, 27-year-old stunner will next be seen as vengeful vampire Irina Denali in Summit Entertainment’s final Twilight Saga movies, Breaking Dawn: Part 1 & 2, arriving in theaters on Nov. 18, 2011 and Nov. 16, 2012, respectively.

Upstart distro FilmDistrict has set a Feb. 24, 2012 release date for Lockout.

Briana Evigan Embarks On ‘Rites of Passage’ w/ Kate Maberly & Christian Slater!

briana-evigan-sexy

Screenwriter W. Peter Iliff, the man behind such ’90s classics as Point Break, Varsity Blues, and Patriot Games, is set to make his directorial debut this year with the white-knuckle survival-frightener Rites of Passage.

The film stars Wes Bentley (Jonah Hex) as Benny, a psychotic loner looking to secretly perform an ancient Chumash Indian ritual on his secluded beach side property. An unexpected visit from his brother and a group of drunken, sexed-up college kids complicates matters , however, when their actions trigger the ire of Benny’s deranged meth-addicted groundskeeper Delgado, played by Christian Slater (Heathers).

Also along for the ride are Stephen Dorf (Immortals) as anthropology teacher Nash, a very grown up and bikini-clad Kate Maberly (The Secret Garden) as troubled student Dani, and Briana Evigan as bootylicious party girl Penelope, who—according to Clatto informants—owns one of the sexiest cat-and-mouse sequences ever committed to film.

Rites of Passage is the latest in a string of frighteners starring Evigan. The 24-year-old starlet can also be seen in the Donnie Darko sequel S. Darko, E1 Entertainment’s Sorority Row, the Lionsgate thriller Burning Bright, and director Darren Lynn Bousman’s upcoming remake Mother’s Day.

Briana Evigan is featured on Clatto’s list of The 20 Hottest Women Working in Horror/Sci-fi Today.

Fergie’s Lovely Humps Are ‘Beautiful Dangerous’ in Slash Music Video!

Fergie-Beautiful-Dangerous

Former Guns & Roses/Velvet Revolver guitarist Slash announced the launch of Slasher Films at this year’s Sundance Film Festival. The 45-year-old musician told reporters that he had four projects currently in development: Nothing to Fear, Wake the Dead (an adaptation of the graphic novel), Vincenzo Natali’s Theorem, and The Other Kingdom, a hospital-based thriller from the writer of Event Horizon.

Production on Nothing to Fear, a demonic frightener, is slated to begin later this year. But, if you just can’t wait to see what Slash has got under his hat for horror fans, you can get an idea by checking out his new music video for the song “Beautiful Dangerous.” The video features Black Eye Peas’ singer and meal-ticket Fergie as an obsessed groupie-turned-stalker on the verge of losing her mind … and pants.

sheri-moon-zombie

Rocker/director Rob Zombie is set to roll camera this spring on his new frightener Lords of Salem. Set in modern day Salem, Massachusetts, the film follows a 300-year-old coven of witches as they wreak havoc on the townsfolk.

Oren Peli, Jason Blum, and Steven Schneider—the team behind Paranormal Activity and Insidious—will produce through their company Haunted Films. No word yet on who will star in the film, but my knack for the obvious tells me to expect an appearance from Zombie’s old lady Sheri Moon (pictured above).

Zombie first made his foray into movie making in 2003 with the white-trash family horror show House of a 1000 Corpses. A sequel, The Devil’s Rejects, followed in ’05. Unlike his much maligned Halloween 1 & 2 remakes, both films have achieved cult status.

Visually, I find Zombie’s directing style absolutely compelling. His stories and dialogue? Not so much. And, what’s with the ongoing white trash angle in every damn film? If the Lords of Salem turn out to be hillbillies in pointy hats, I’m gonna burn my White Zombie catalog.
