Malaysian stunner Natassia Malthe reprises her role as deadly dhampir (half vampire/half human) Rayne in German director Uwe Boll’s BloodRayne 3: The Third Reich. Set during World War II, the film follows Rayne as she slaughters Nazis in Europe while attempting to stop one of their Comandants (Michael Pare) from injecting Adolf Hitler with her blood, thus making him an immortal vampire.

Shot in Croatia on an $8 million budget, The Third Reich is said to be the final chapter in the BloodRayne series. Boll reportedly reached out to original BloodRayne topless headliner Kristina Loken to star in the sequel, but was told to fuck off by the gorgeous Terminator 3 babe who then proceeded to break a toilet over his head (or so I imagine).

No word on whether Malthe goes fully or just tastefully nude in the film, but the 36-year-old starlet appears to be engaged in heated lesbian sex scene in the trailer. Though, she didn’t strip for BloodRayne 2: Deliverance, Malthe doesn’t really appear to have any qualms about showcasing her goodies, as evident by her roles in the horror flicks Chaos and Devil’s Highway.

Malthe’s additional creds include the Boll produced Alone in the Dark 2, the werewolf thriller Skinwalkers, superhero flick Electra (she shared a kiss with Jennifer Garner), Halloween: Resurrection, the David E. Kelly penned creature-feature Lake Placid, and the most stroke-worthy video game-based actioner ever, DOA: Dead or Alive.

BloodRayne 3: The Third Reich costars Brendan Fletcher (Freddy vs. Jason), Annett Culp (Barbed Wire), Willam Belli (“Nip/Tuck”), Steffen Mennekes (BloodRayne 2: Deliverance), Safiya Kaygin, and the Laurence Olivier of genre fare Clint Howard.

Abigail Spencer (“Mad Men”) and Katee Sackoff (“Battlestar Galactica”) are set to star as sisters tormented by horrifying visions in Lionsgate upcoming sequel to last year’s surprise supernatural hit A Haunting in Connecticut. Entitled A Haunting in Georgia, the film is based on actual events reportedly experienced by the Wyrick’s family in Harris County.

Spencer will play Lisa Wyrick, a young mother who fears that her daughter  may be having paranormal visions of her own. Directed by newcomer Tom Elkins, A Haunting in Georgia costars Chad Michael Murray (House of Wax) and Emily Alyn Lin as Lisa’s husband and daughter.

A Haunting in Connecticut earned over $76 million in world wide gross. Gold Circle Films is looking to create a based-on-a-true-story franchise with the release of Georgia. Personally, I’m just glad the sequel takes place out of Connecticut because I have a really hard time spelling Connecticut.

A Haunting in Georgia is currently shooting in Baton Rouge.

Sexy promo shots of Israeli-born actress Shirly Brener are making the rounds in Hollywood. The 32-year-old’s natural talents are showcased in a series of bikini and wet t-shirt photos guaranteed to get some callbacks (see gallery below).

Personally, I love how Brener looks a little awkward in some of the pics. I think you can see her bikini-clad soul die a little, especially in the shots where her legs are parted and the one where her bottom is crooked (see just below).

Brener, who was raised in London and Los Angeles, has played small roles in films such as the Jessica Simpson vehicle Employee of the Month, the Lindsay Lohan comedy Labor Pains, and the Al Pacino/Robert De Niro crime-actioner Righteous Kill.

Unraveled follows a young group of filmmakers trying to stay alive in the mountains as a sadistic killer hunts them down to film a snuff video.

Hayden Panettiere (Scream 4) and Nikki Reed (The Twilight Saga) will join Rebecca De Mornay (Mother’s Day) in director Nelson McCormick’s (The Stepfather) big screen adaptation of author Micheal Hornberg’s 2001 novel Downers Grove. Bret Easton Ellis (“American Psycho”) is attached as screenwriter.

Panettiere will play Chrissie Swanson, an angst-filled high school student convinced that she will be the next victim of a curse that has seen schoolmates die bizarre deaths every year before graduation. Adding to her daily dose of torment are her dysfunctional family and the jock who attempted to rape her at a party.

Nikki Reed

Reed, who starred in this summer’s indie-slasher Chain Letter, will most likely play Chrissie’s sex-crazed BFF Tracy, while the still insanely sexy De Mornay takes on the role of Chrissie’s single-but-dating mother.

Downers Grove is expected to commence shooting in Louisiana next spring. Myriad Pictures is handling distribution outside of the States.

The truth is out there … a third “X-Files” movie is in the works.

So says “X-Files” star David Duchovny (Fox “Spooky” Mulder) in an interview with French entertainment site TVMag. And, though, he fails to flat out acknowledge that the second movie in the franchise X-Files: I Want to Believe sucked little green men balls, he does offer a couple of excuses for its box office failure.

He says:

It is in the process of being written. One awaits just the green light from Fox, a little disappointed from the relatively poor reception of the second film.

The error comes, in my opinion, that the authors strayed too far from the roots of the series. Moreover, the film was released in the summer. The third will be much closer to what the public expects, with government conspiracies, etc.

X-Files: I Want to Believe earned just a little over $68 million worldwide. By comparison, the first film in the series X-Files: Fight the Future raked in over $189 million in worldwide coin.

A re-imagining of the 1992 Bridgett Fonda thriller Single White Female, the film stars “Gossip Girl” Leighton Meester as an emotionally unstable college coed obsessed with her dorm-mate, played by Minka Kelly—Esquire’s Sexiest Woman Alive 2010.

Producers Samuel Hadida and Don Carmody (Resident Evil: Afterlife) have tapped director Michael J. Bassett (Solomon Kane) to helm Silent Hill: Revelation 3-D, the eagerly-awaited sequel to their 2006 adaptation of Konami’s bestselling video game Silent Hill.

For years, Heather Mason and her father have been on the run, always one step ahead of dangerous forces that she doesn’t fully understand. Now on the eve of her 18^th birthday, plagued by terrifying nightmares and the disappearance of her father, Heather discovers she’s not who she thinks she is. The revelation leads her deeper into a demonic world that threatens to trap her in Silent Hill forever.

The original Silent Hill, directed by Christophe Gans and penned by Roger Avary, has earned over $99 million worldwide and over $22 million in U.S. DVD sales. The film starred Aussie actress Radha Mitchell and Sean Bean.
