Daniel Craig, Olivia Wilde, & Harrison Ford Ride Into ‘Cowboys & Aliens’ Trailer!

Cowboys&Aliens_poster

The first official teaser for Iron Man director Jon Favreau’s adaptation of Scott Mitchell Rosenberg’s graphic novel Cowboys & Aliens rode into town this morning. Set in the mid 19th century, the sci-fi actioner follows gunslinger Jake Lonergan (Daniel Craig), Ella Verity (Olivia Wilde), and Colonel Dolarhyde (Harrison Ford) as they set out to stop an alien race from enslaving humankind.

Peep the trailer:

The film’s official synopsis reads:

1873. Arizona Territory. A stranger (Craig) with no memory of his past stumbles into the hard desert town of Absolution. The only hint to his history is a mysterious shackle that encircles one wrist. What he discovers is that the people of Absolution don’t welcome strangers, and nobody makes a move on its streets unless ordered to do so by the iron-fisted Colonel Dolarhyde (Ford). It’s a town that lives in fear.

But Absolution is about to experience fear it can scarcely comprehend as the desolate city is attacked by marauders from the sky. Screaming down with breathtaking velocity and blinding lights to abduct the helpless one by one, these monsters challenge everything the residents have ever known.

Now, the stranger they rejected is their only hope for salvation. As this gunslinger slowly starts to remember who he is and where he’s been, he realizes he holds a secret that could give the town a fighting chance against the alien force. With the help of the elusive traveler Ella (Olivia Wilde), he pulls together a posse comprised of former opponents—townsfolk, Dolarhyde and his boys, outlaws and Apache warriors—all in danger of annihilation. United against a common enemy, they will prepare for an epic showdown for survival.

Cowboys & Aliens costars Sam Rockwell (Iron Man 2), Walton Goggins (Predators), Clancy Brown (“LOST”), Abigail Spencer (Haunting in Georgia), Keith Carradine (“Dexter”), Paul Dano (Taking Lives),  Ana de la Reguera (Nacho Libre), and Adam Beach (Flags of Our Fathers).

The film’s script was written by “LOST” co-creator Damon Lindelof with go-to collaborators Alex Kurtzman and Roberto Orci. Steven Spielberg, Ron Howard and Brian Grazer serve as producers.

Cowboys and Indians will be in theaters on July 29, 2011.

Glimpse Ryan Reynolds’ Tighty-Whiteys in ‘Green Lantern’ Trailer!

Green-Lantern-Ryan_Renolds

Warner Bros. has unleashed the first official trailer for its much buzzed about superhero actioner The Green Lantern. Despite being slated for a June 17, 2011 release, the studio has already begun its campaign to lure people with vaginas into the theater.

Judging from the trailer, the strategy seems to focus on showing footage of headliner Ryan Reynold’s baring his chest and smuggling plums in his tighty-whiteys.

Here ya go:

Directed by Martin Campbell (No Escape), The Green Lantern costars Blake Lively, Peter Sarsgaard, Tim Robbins, Mark Strong, Temuera Morrison, Jenna Craig, Jon Tenney, Taika Cohen, Jeff Wolfe, and Angela Bassett.

MTV Neuters ‘Teen Wolf’ for Horny Tween Audience!

Tyler_Posey_Crystal_Reed_Teen_Wolf

MTV’s neutering of the 1985 MGM horror-comedy Teen Wolf has now gotten a trailer. Despite sharing a title, the network’s re-imaging of the Michael J. Fox film appears to be a completely different beast. For starters, actor Tyler Posey’s teen wolf clearly manscapes … his entire body. Yes, the werewolf is fucking hairless. And, he plays lacrosse instead of basketball!

Hmm. Me thinks producers have been consulting with 11-year-old girls such as this.

MTV’s Teen Wolf stars Posey as Scott McCall, a high-school outcast who gains powers and popularity after being bitten by a wolf. Costars include Skyline’s Crystal Reed as the love interest, Dylan O’Brien as the best friend, and Tyler Hoechlin as the series’ villain.

Missed Teri Hatcher’s Appearance on ‘Smallville’? See it Now!

Teri_Hatcher_Bed

Teri Hatcher’s guest appearance as Lois Lane’s mother on this week’s episode of The CW’s “Smallville” garnered the series a 2.9 rating (1.3 among the coveted 18-to-49 demo), making it the highest rated episode so far in its 10th and final season.

Entitled “Abandoned,” Friday night’s episode featured Hatcher as the late Ella Lane addressing her daughter Lois (Erica Durance) for the last time via video tape.

It went like this:

Hatcher, of course, played Lois Lane on the 1993 ABC series “Lois and Clark: The New Adventures of Superman.” Her hair style on that show looked exactly the same as it did on Friday night’s episode. Coincidence?

Hatcher currently stars as milfy ditz Suzanne Mayer on ABC’s long-running hit series “Desperate Housewives.”

Sony Pictures has released the first teaser trailer for director Jonathan Liebesman’s alien-invasion feature Battle: Los Angeles, due in theaters on March 11, 2011. The film stars Aaron Eckhart (The Dark Knight), Michelle Rodriguez (Machete), Michael Pena (Love Object), Jim Parrack (“True Blood”), Noel Fisher (Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn), sexy newcomer Taryn Southern, and R&B pop artist Ne-Yo.

Described as Independence Day meets Black Hawk Down, the film takes its name from a supposed massive UFO sighting in Santa Monica, California said to have taken place on Feb. 25, 1942,  just weeks after the Japanese attack on Pearl Harbor. According to UFO enthusiasts, the alien ship was attacked by the U.S. military under the belief that it was Japanese aircraft (read more about it here).

Emma Watson Shows Off Some Leg at ‘Potter’ Premiere in London!

EMMA_WATSON_Lace

The world premiere of Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part One was held last night at the Odeon Leicester Square in London, England. The event brought out Potter creator J.K. Rowling and the film’s stars including Danielle Radcliffe, Emma Watson, Rupert Grint, Tom Felton, Bonnie Wright, Helena Bonham Carter, Clemence Poesy, John Hurt, and Ralph Fiennes.

The premiere was a bittersweet experience for cast, crew, and fans as it marks the beginning of the end for Warner Bros’ widely popular blockbuster franchise. Watson, however, stole the limelight from her costars and the film itself by showing off some serious leg in a tiny black lace and feather frock by Rafael Lopez (he does all my feathered boxers). The 20-year-old starlet even managed to pull off a new pixie haircut without frightening my penis.

“LOST” babe Rebecca Mader is set to guest star on an episode of ABC Studios’ new superhero dramedy “No Ordinary Family,” set to air in January. The 33-year-old redhead will play a mysterious Global Tech employee working alongside series regular Julie Benz’s character Stephanie Powell.

“No Ordinary Family” follows the Powell family as they attempt to understand and control the super powers they developed after surviving a freak accident. The show costars Michael Chiklis as patriarch Jim Powell, Kay Panabaker (Danielle’s younger sister) and Jimmy Bennett as the kids, and Autumn Reeser as lab tech Katie Andrews.

TV Guide is reporting that Mader’s character “may be hiding a few secrets of her own,” so don’t be surprised if it becomes a recurring role for the British starlet. Mader is, of course, best known for her doomed turn as Dr. Charlotte Lewis on ABC’s Emmy award-winning sci-fi series “LOST.”

‘Dexter’ Babe Courtney Ford Sucked In for ‘True Blood’ Season 4!

Courtney-Ford-nude

Actress Courtney Ford has landed a recurring role on the upcoming fourth season of HBO’s hit vampire-soap “True Blood.” The 32-year-old stunner will play lawyer Portia Bellefleur, sister to Bon Temps, Louisiana detective Andy Bellefleur.

Ford was last seen on The CW’s “The Vampire Diaries” as supernatural scholar Vanessa Monroe and on Showtime’s “Dexter” as Miami Tribune reporter Christine Hill, the homicidal daughter of the notorious Trinity killer.

Ford, who had toiled around Hollywood for 10 years chasing bit parts, was ready to call it quits shortly after auditioning for “Dexter.” Thankfully, producers recognized the California native’s natural talents.

The world premiere of Universal/Rogue Pictures’ alien-invasion thriller Skyline was held at the Regal Cinemas L.A. Live in Los Angeles on Tuesday night. Directors/producers Colin and Greg Strause were joined on the red carpet by starlets Crystal Reed, Scottie Thompson, Brittany Daniel, and Tanya Newbould. Vagina-less costars in attendance included David Zayas, Eric Balfour, and “brown bear” Donald Faison.
